Halquist Stone

Extremely disappointed in the customer service from start to finish!! Good product, but terrible communication from the sales rep and installation team throughout the whole process. Experienced a problem with the way the granite was installed and management at Halquist did nothing to help us out. Halquist is always right, NOT the customer!!!

Outstanding service & work.

Overall a positive experience. The showroom was nice and the people we dealt with were very professional. However, due to their size the experience was not as personal as we had enjoyed last time we bought counter tops in our previous home. I do believe their size gives them the scale to have state of the art equipment for measuring and fabricating. You may have to go to other stone yards to find a the stone you like which they are happy to accommodate. I felt very comfortable throughout the experience that we were dealing with pros and give them a strong recomendation.

They have the product that I wanted, they were good, kept to the schedule and got the job done.

I have gone to Halquist several times to look at granite and get quotes. Each time I have had the same eperience...the receptionist when you walk through the door merely send you to the counter to her right, there you wait for someone to wait on you. There are always several people at the desks but no one wants to come and assist you. Why the receptionist doesn't pick up the phone and call one of them to the counter I am not sure? that is the job of the receptionist to get the process started. When they do eventually assist you they aren't very acommodating. You ask them questions about different finishes and they act bothered that you don't already know what you want. When requesting the best bricks for building their answer is it all depends on what you want? Well if you are a homeowner trying to contract your own project you don't always know what you want which is why you went there with questions. Once we rode bikes there to look at stone, we arrived five minutes before they closed. The door was still open, we went inside and they told us that they would be closing in a few minutes so there would be no one that could help us. We told them that we just rode 15 miles and we only had a few questions to get a quote. They said that we could come back when they opened tomorrow.Basically what I felt like was that unless you are going to buy a lot for a project they don't want to waste their time with you.

love the place It's fun just to wander around and see all the stones. If you want help, they are there to help. They pointed out to me that the stones I bought could be priced two different ways and made sure I bought them at the less expensive price.

From picking out the granite that we wanted for our counter tops to the installation, we couldn't be happier. Every part of the process was very smooth. Would highly recommend Halquist to all of my friends. Installers were actually ahead of time, went very quickly and professionally.

Customer service is lacking, installers appear rushed, incorrect measurements resulted in significant delay and extra charges after bathroom countertops was measured too short.

Service was good. They kept their times for appointments and when the countertop was miscut due to a measurement error, they replaced the countertop without delay.
