Apple Painting and Remodeling

This was my second experience with Apple. This one went as great as the first. Jose and Luis removed the wallpaper in just over the 8 hours I purchased for the Big Deal and Jose came back on day 2 to apply the primer. They came in and went right to work and when they went out for lunch, they told us where they were going and were back in a half an hour. They were prompt, hardworking and courteous. The hourly rate after the 8 hours I paid for was very reasonable and they even supplied me with the receipt for the materials they had to purchase. Very honest company and that's hard to find these days. Would absolutely use them again.

Jeff's quote was accurate and highly competitive. His team showed up on time and put away the equipment every night so at times it did not seem as if they were there. The repairs and painting was very well done and looked fantastic. When the job was completed, they moved all the furniture back and cleaned up perfectly. This is my second time using Apple painting and I will definitely use them again in the future.

They did an excellent job. Jose was an excellent worker and I would definitely use them again.

Excellent job overall, reasonable price. Lots of edge-work, taping and cutting, and barrel ceiling was not easy to roll. Jose did most of the work, hard worker, conscientious, very neat and good clean up at the end of the day, and a very nice guy!

Jeff, Tyler and Jose were hired for 16 hours of painting. They did a great job so we asked them to do a lot more of the house. Jeff is very responsive and extremely flexible and patient with all of our changes both in terms of project and timing. They are quick and do a very nice job and have even moved furniture for us. We are really happy with their work.

I purchased the Big Deal on Angie's List for 8 hours of wallpaper removal for my kitchen. I attempted to remove it myself and soon realized I was not going to be able to complete it. One wall had dry wall mud under the paper and another had some sort of adhesive with a paper backing...what a mess. Tyler and Jose came in and removed the wallpaper the first day, pretty much staying within the 8 hours (2 workers for 4 hours) and got all the paper off. Tyler then came back on Monday and Tuesday for a few hours each day to prep the walls, including removing all the glue and priming and texturizing the wall with the "mud" on it. Both workers were very polite and hard working. My elderly parents live with us and they were very considerate in using the chemicals that would be the least offensive in odor. Jeff (the owner?) also called me a couple times during this process to make sure everything was going OK and explaining what they were going to be doing and what the extra work would cost me. The hourly rate was, I thought, very reasonable. I have 3 more rooms of wallpaper to remove and would not hesitate to call them again if I run in to more problems.

Excellent attention to detail, thorough and careful. Also nice guys. They will be returning next month for another room and trim painting. Highly recommended

Jeff was very professional and worked the whole time. Did an excellent job with everything that we had him do. I will definitely recommend him for any future jobs to family and friends.

Did not finish the job. Was to come back to finish painting bedroom. Since my initial review we have talked and came to a settlement satisfactory to us both. Therefore I'm increasing my rating.

I called them to give me a painting estimate and never heard anything from them. Very unresponsive and unprofessional!

Apple Painting was wonderful. I purchased two deals they had for painting and used them for getting my house ready for sale. They were very quick and super friendly. They did an awesome job and I will definitely be calling them again for my new house when I need my next painting job.

I felt the worker did a great job removing my wallpaper but it came off so easily that it only took a few hours. I wasn't prepared to have them paint. When I called later to see if he would honor the hours I had left on my Big Deal, Jeff said all the hours have to be used on the same day. So I lost money on the deal.

Tyler was extremely hard working and accomplished a lot of work. He was meticulous and attentive to details. The doors looked rough before he started and beautiful when he was done. He then started painting baseboards for me. Jeff, the owner, helped me figure out exactly which paint would look best before we started so the results were optimal. He checked after the job was complete to make sure I was satisfied. I will call this company again. They were top notch!!

They did an excellent job --they were very careful and thorough and attended to all the little details that make the difference between an excellent paint job and an amateurish one if I'd tried to do it myself. They helped us choose the type of paint and finishes, and encouraged us to try color samples before deciding on the color--I did try four different samples before getting the perfect color and was very glad I took the time to do so. They were flexible in working with our schedule and made sure that we were completed satisfied with the job before calling it finished. I would definitely use Apple Painting again and would recommend them to friends.

We were glad he was up front with us and how he intended to do it, but after talking to other people, we do not want wallpaper removed by boiling water on the stove and then spraying it directly on the walls. We were expecting him to use a steamer.

This is my second time using Apple Painting, they are FANTASTIC!!! Jeff Dewitt has a great crew. Jeff responded to my call right away. We set the appointment and they arrived in a timely manor. They did a great job the first time I used them to paint a bathroom with a high ceiling...I found them on Angie's List a year ago...so happy I did!! They are very precise especially with slanted ceilings and with the use of two colors. Jeff and his crew are definitely professional painters and they do a fantastic job! I am so happy I've found a painter who does quality work for fair pricing...they've got my business anytime I need a painter!!

Jeff & Tyler came to our house to remove wallpaper in a full bathroom, fix & sand texture the walls and then paint and re-stain some windows. Tyler worked on the bathroom & he did an awesome job! The wallpaper came off pretty good & not too much repair needed. He sand textured the walls & then painted. It looks fantastic! Jeff worked on our windows which involved some sanding of a bay window in the kitchen and the window sills on all our living room windows ( we have 2 walls that are basically all windows). Jeff did a great job too! The bay window & window sills were pretty sun faded, areas of chipped away stain and had cat scratches on them. The windows look very nice now! He was so helpful too - he explained the type of paint to use and also took our very old stain (which they did not make anymore) to the store to have them match the color. They were both very professional - always cleaned up at the end of the day (the project took 2-1/2 days). They did an excellent job & the price was extremely reasonable. I have painting to be done at a different house in the near future & I will definitely be calling Jeff & Tyler again!

Very good expernce, the two men were certeous , flexable helpful with paint suggestions menuverving room to room.extting they were timly and clean.i have used them three other times in my business an is scheduled on another project.

Jeff & Tyler did a great job from start to finish. Clean up at the site was done at the end of each day. Jeff estimated one week for the work and they were completed on time. His quote was accurate with no hidden fees. Both Jeff and Tyler were wonderful to work with. We will hire them back should we need more rooms repainted. I recommend them to anyone!

They did the work when promised and made the house look great ! It was in such bad shape and now it looks new again.

We needed the exterior and the deck of our home painted. After searching on the web and talking to a few contractors we decided to hire apple painting. From start to finish Jeff and his crew were polite and payed special attention to detail. The workmanship is great and we are happy to say it was a job well done. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the work shows. We will recommend apple to family and friends and use them in the future.

Fella's did a fantastic job and I'm very satisfied with the quality of workmanship. Jeff initially came over and bid job which was later approved and a time was agreed to get work done. Jeff and associate were prompt and met time guidelines we set for them. Very clean and attentive to job at hand. Wife and I are very satisfied with Apple Painting and plan on using them again in the future.

The painters made no attempt to protect the homeowners property. When they painted the living room ceiling they got paint splatters all over our hardwood floors and furniture. When they painted the kitchen they got paint splatters all over the kitchen cabinets. Then they had the nerve to say they didn't do it and it must have been from a previous paint job. They cleaned up their painting equipment in our kitchen sink and its had to be replaced. We had rolled up a hallway throw rug and put it into a different room since they would be going in and out through the garage. They put the throw rug back down on the floor and used it to wipe their shoes as they went in and out on a rainy day and it was ruined. We had to constantly point out places they had missed or didn't get complete coverage. We ended up having to withhold the remaining payment until they came back to clean up all of the paint splatters which they still did a losy job at.

Jeff and his crew were easy to work with and did a fantastic job. House looks great and ready for sale.
