+ -1 moreRepeated phone calls have not been answered. We gave them a $200 deposit on the 16th of January, 2008. They have given us two dates (both Mondays) saying they would be at our house in the morning, but were No-Shows both times. Now they are not returning our calls. Other than calling to say the part was in and cashing our check nothing has happened.
Description of Work: Ace Appliance Associates came to look at our Viking Oven and diagnosed a faulty thermostat. We gave them a $200 deposit.

+ -1 moreHe was available right away which is why we chose him. He had quite a few phone numbers and a half page ad which made us think he was reputable. He charged us for the trip out and for the part that we would need to have it repaired but we never heard from him after that. We would continually try to call him and get hung up on. I did get a hold of him a couple of times but kept excuses. He diagnosed there was a malfunction with the display which was obvious but he never told us what needed to be repaired. We contacted the BBB who said he had 15 unresponded complaints against him.
Description of Work: We had a dishwasher that went on the fritz. We needed it repaired before Thanksgiving. ($78)
