+ -1 moreI received an estimate from Aspen Door as well, Seltzner was ~$300 less for the same door. Had to reschedule the first estimate date due to his previous job running over. It was not an issue, but I did not recieve a call until after the scheduled time. After that it was a smooth process. I recieved a new door in approx 2 weeks, he was early/ontime for the install appt.

+ -1 moreThis was my second experience with Mr. Seltzner. In the first week of January 2009 my garage door opener expired so that I had to disconnect it and raise and lower the door manually. It could not be repaired as it was so old and parts were not readily available. I called Mr. Seltzer, who provided the lowest bid, and made an appointment for him to come and replace it. He did so the next day, on time and on spec. It was about -10 degrees that day and he sure earned some points. It was that experience that led me to call him to replace the garage door. I did get other bids but, again, Mr. Seltzner got the nod. I would not hesitate a moment to call this man again or to recommend him.
Description of Work: Today, 8/2/2011, Mr. Seltzner replaced my old wood panel garage door and tension springs with a new steel door and a torsion spring. He also replaced all the drive track framework. No muss, no fuss, all work was performed as expected and agreed, and within the time allotted. So far, everything is well-and-firmly attached and working as it should.
