Larson Floor Sanding

It all went smoothly. Bill returned all my calls. Everything was done on time. The work on the floors was fantastic. It's a pleasure to have someone work on the floors that really knows and cares about how the work is done.

Jim was excellent and responsive both to our time constraints and need to use low VOC, healthier floor finishes. He provided several recommendations and information to help us select just the right one. He matched the new flooring sections so perfectly that we can't even see where the old ends and the new begins. We would definitely call him in the future ford any hardwood flooring needs. It's nice to hire a hard worker who does what he says he'll do when he says he'll do it and patiently answers questions and phone calls!

I was very pleased with their service. Punctual, courteous, cleaned up after, gave helpful comments with care and cleaning. I do not remember the cost at this time, but will say that being a single middle income working woman, it was affordable for me with some preplanning. I still look at my floors and am so pleased with the work they did!! Would definitely hire them again!!!!! Also, the new hallway floors match almost perfectly with the original oak floors installed 50 -55 years prior. They are all in great shape and am proud of them!!!

The contractors were great to work with. They had to fix the subfloor where the fireplace was, match the wood and look, color and finish of an aged floor with the new materials. They worked quickly, with little mess, very low dust, and you can not tell where the patch was put in. The patched area was about 3.5' x 3.5'.

Did a beautiful job on our 110 yr old floors. Prior to the sanding, there were some old stains from fuel oil and fireplace embers as well as a bit of unevenness between the foyer and dining room, all which are now are much less noticable. He also sand sanded some delicate wooden register covers, did an impeccable job. We had considered restaining after sanding, but decided we really liked the natural color, so left it that way and had him seal it with the polyurethane. Haven't noticed any imperfections in the surface. Only mildly annoying thing was that when we turned on the AC a few weeks later, dust from the sanding blew out of the floor vents (no major dust issues anywhere else in the house). But frankly, the fact that he squeezed us in on VERY short notice (we wanted the floors done before moving into our new house, and he was going overtime with other customers that week), gave us a very reasonable estimate, stuck to the estimate, and did such a beautiful job on the floors--well, I just wasn't that perturbed that he forgot to get the dust out of the vents.

He did a wonderful job. He was here exactly when he said. He took great care in keeping the mess down and cleaning up. The sanding and refinishing went exactly as quoted - time wise and expense wise. The floor looks beautiful!

Bill showed up on time or was early. He has extensive sanding, refinishing, installation, buffing, waxing, and polish experience. I was unable to obtain the exact color match so he used his experience and created a good color match. Good work for an excellent price. Recommended. Although he was very busy, he was very responsive to our first request and actually did work on the weekend so the cabinets could be installed on Tuesday. He was booked for 4 weeks yet he worked us into his schedule. After the cabinets were installed, we had a surprise, one section of a board 1-1/4 to 1/2and quot; wide by 9and quot; long was exposed with no stain. He was very busy and managed to slide us into his schedule. This was a very small job for him and we were impressed he squeezed us in to meet our timing.

I actually got their contact from a co-worker and not on Angie's List. However, I am compelled to write something good about these brothers. Professional, timely and the work they turn out was great. I only wish I had more wood floors for them to work on for me.

The work was begun at 7:30 AM on the day agreed upon, and completed by the end of the the following day. Clear instructions were given regarding when and how to replace furniture and area rugs.

These guys are great! This is the third project we have used them, and it's the same each time: scheduled at our convenience, extremely prompt, and they clean up afterwards. And the floors look outstanding. Very highly recommended.
