The service professional came over and looked at the water heater, he determined that a part needed replacing. He had the part in his truck, and fixed the water heater. It took him only about 20 minutes.

I spent probably $150 on that last service. I have used them for quite a long time and I like them. They have always been prompt, helpful and haven?t been too expensive. They have been nice, clean and don?t leave a mess. They are good plumbers and I haven?t had any problems with them, so I keep asking them back.

THIS PLUMBING IS ONE OF THE BEST IN MY BOOK! I CAN NOT TYPE MUCH NOW BECAUSE OF MY OSTEOARTHRITIS!!

I used them because they were the fastest to respond. They came out within about 20 minutes. They diagnosed the problem and were here within 8 hours to put in a new furnace. They came at 8 am. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We originally had air duct cleaning and a furnace and A/C inspection/servicing done. They were able to schedule the appointment very quickly after I called, and tech seemed very professional. We wanted an opinion about our almost 30 year-old furnace and if he thought we needed a new one. He said that it was working well now, but due to the age of the unit he would recommend a new one in the near future. We decided to use Action for our furnace replacement because of our good experience with them, and they did a great job for this too.

Our furnace was not coming on and the fan was running continually even when we turned everything off at the thermostat. Of course it was on a weekend. Action, however, does not charge extra for Saturday calls. We called at 9:00 AM and had a service person here by 11:15. He found a problem in one of the components, made the repair and everything worked fine. He was here about 2 hours and updated us several times about his diagnosis and recommendations. We would definitely call again if we have heating issues.

I was having trouble getting people to do this job but Action came the day after I called. They were in and out of here in a short amount of time and everything went perfectly. The cleanup was good and I was satisfied with the price.

The water heater they installed less than 2 years before was leaking. They replaced it but said they would not replace another one under warranty. This seemed a little strange but we just paid for the labor on the water heater and a leaking pipe.

Very fast response for both my calls (broken faucet and water heater). The repairmen were very courteous, informed me of what was happening at every step of the process, and gave me advice for improving the performance of my plumbing.

Sewer back up late on a Sunday evening. I called Action and they sent someone over quite promptly. He scoped the drain with a camera on a probe but could not clearly identify the problem or clear the clog. He surmised that the problem must be related to our check valve, which he then set out to replace. He might just have to take it out, he said, because he wasn't sure he could replace it. The check valve was under a carpeted area near the corner of an area in our basement. But instead of pulling up the carpet from the corner, he slashed raggedly through it. He dug down to the valve (it was under about 12 inches or so of sand) but he couldn't get it opened. He managed to break off one bolt, and let it go at that. He said we should have someone come and rip up our concrete floor and replace the drain. He snaked out the sewer and got it clear, but he never was able to identify where it was really plugged. At the end of night, we had the drain clear. But our carpet was pointlessly mangled, and we had no idea what had caused the problem, and whether we had it fixed. So far, after about 6 months, the drain seems fine.

Under a stressful (and cold!) situation, Action Heating responded in a rapid, compassionate and professional manner. We are very grateful for the great service they provided and our home is warm again! I highly recommend them.

Very well. He thoroughly assessed the situation, took measurements, remeasured, asked questions, showed me the scenario, and waited while I called my husand for approval. Once he started working, he again remeasured. He informed me drilling through the foundation would cause more mess than he could contain and waited while I moved a few things. He used a drop cloth to catch what he could. He wore booties over his shoes EVERY trip through the house and he was in and out a lot. He was courteous, patient and professional.

They came out within a day and the tech was courteous and worked quickly. These were fairly straight forward fixes. On one of the faucets, he tried a repair kit first and then decided to replace it after the leak continued, and I believe I was charged for all of those parts, which is frustrating, but he did a nice job in the end and we are happy with the work.

I felt like they were not in a hurry and they did a really good job, the person they sent out to do the work was very personable and easy to talk to.

They were fast and efficient. They seemed to be very quick at coming out, and it was a little job, so it's sometimes difficult to get companies to come out. I was happy with their work.

We came home Friday evening to hot water on the concrete near our water heater. We vacuumed up the water and called the 24-hour hotline. They said they'd be there on Saturday between 10 and 2 and would call when they are close. As promised, they called around 10:15 and were there by 10:45. They sold us a new valve for $40 and installed a temporary thermostat just to get us up and running right away. We are waiting for them to call us back about the correct thermostat for our model, whether our water heater is still under warranty, and prices of tankless water heaters. (It turns out Action is contracted to do warranty work for our manufacturer.) The only reason I gave them a "B" for responsiveness is because they said they'd call Monday, and it is now Tuesday. We aren't in any rush, though, since we have hot water. We were very pleased with their timeliness on the day of the appointment.
