Work performed as expected. Quickly and professionally. I would have appreciated a call from the office personnel letting me know that my small job was apparently the last job of the day ( 5 p.m. On a Friday).

The workers were professional and yet friendly. They explained what they were going to do. They did the work and did an excellent job of clean up.

I was really happy with their service. Friendly people on the phone who took my order. I got same day delivery too. All very professional and courteous business. I would recommend them to anyone in the area that needs firewood.

They were great. It took them forever to get to the job but they were good once they did it. They were very good at getting back to you and we did it all by email. Whenever I sent an email to them, they were very prompt in replying and letting me know where they were at with scheduling and all that sort of stuff, they won't leave you hanging. They did a perfect job. I had my handyman go over, look at it and he said that the tree was trimmed back and there's nothing else around. It was all gone and they took it all with them so it was great.

Removed one tree and stump for $200 Also, removed two other stumps at $75 each.

They came and removed it and suggested that because of the age and location of the tree it should be either be pruned or taken down due to rot. We decided to save her and the company came and trimmed it up. The job was done in a timely manner and and with care. I am impressed with the quality of the personal of this company. They deserve at least 10 stars!

Great service. They were on time and expertly cut back an old ash with a number of dead limbs. They were quick and did a thorough clean up afterwards. Top notch company.

I am impressed with this company. I had a large tree overhanging my house and they removed it without damaging the roof. Very prompt and courteous and left my yard clean and free from debris. They did what they said at a price they quoted and they did it quick! I would definitely use them again.

The job went very well. They arrived on time and had the tree taken down and everything cleaned up in about 3 1/2 hours. A pile of wood from the tree was picked up the next day. Everything was cleaned up very well. They did leave a pile of the wood chips from grinding out the stump after asking if I wanted to keep them to use as much. I am very satisfied with the job they did.

The woman who answered the phone was courteous and helpful. We reviewed quantity, price and delivery. She called us and confirmed delivery. The driver arrived on schedule. We were pleased with the quantity and quality.

Everything went well. They said I should call them when I started seeing the box elder bugs and they would come out and spray. I called and they were here the next day.

I wanted the work to be done in June but as the bushes (2), which split and looked more like 4 trees, had power lines running through them, which I didn?t even notice until they mentioned it. We Energies had to come out first to clear the power lines. This has been a usually stormy rainy year and it took about a week for We Energies to come out to assess and drop off the release to clear the lines. Played a little phone tag with We Energies, but I also planned a vacation for the first part of July, so when I got back after missing 10 days of work due to vacation, I was swamped so it wasn?t until the end of July early Aug that I could even think about having the work completed. The release from We Energies was only good for 60 days, so I had till August 27 to have them clear the lines. I must say, Affordable kept in contact, even better than I was to them! Very professional! I let them know about the Aug 27th deadline and they let me know they would keep Aug 28th open and to confirm. I contacted We Energies the first part of August, but they were busy with cleaning up the storms in Appleton, and I am the first person to admit my project did not deserve the attention that people suffering in Appleton did. We Energies asked me to call the following Monday and they would try to set up it up for Aug 27th. I let Affordable know and they had the 28th scheduled for me. Yesterday, We Energies showed up at 8am sharp. They cleared the lines by 9am and left a huge pile of branches.I let Affordable know and they told me they were planning on being there early afternoon, 1pm-ish. They were here by 1230-ish. They assessed the situation. They told me the stump grinder would most likely not fit through my gate, but reassured me they would figure it out. I did tell all my neighbors that this was going to be done this year, so it wasn?t a surprise to any of them. They took care of business, removed the tree/shrubs in about 2 hours. The foreman asked me politely if I had a drill so he could open my fence to get the stump grinder in. I gave him my electric drill and he removed a portion of my fence, grinded the stumps, and put the fence back up. They raked, cleaned all the branches. I gave the foreman the payment, and they left. I am very impressed! One thing I will take away from this is TRY to schedule this during the fall/winter-ish?surprisingly enough it seems they are less busy in the fall and that is when most pruning, etc. should be done. (My Dad?s advice, not Affordable Tree Care).

The three men who came were all friendly and the trees came down quickly. The stump grinder was not working so they said someone would be back within two weeks to finish the job. This was fine with me because we were not planning on planting grass until the fall. At first glance the cleanup seemed adequate but on closer inspection there were several large chips of wood that I was concerned about mowing over. These chips were on the grass because the truck used to chip the trees into was not covered. Also around where the trees were cut there seemed to be a lot of debris. At first I thought I was being too picky but the neighbor whose property was adjacent to the trees also mentioned that the cleanup was not very good. There were perhaps a couple of reason why. One being that they would be coming back to grind the stumps and the other being that it was a very hot humid day. Anyhow when the stumps were ground out, the clean up was immaculate. They did a good job of trimming the maple.

The office staff was very professional on the phone and always responsive. The tree crew arrived at our house on time. The men were friendly, polite, and did their work safely and efficiently. A large truck with a lift had to be driven up our narrow driveway which abuts against our house, and our neighbor's house is close to the other side of the driveway. After the tree was trimmed the driver had to back the truck down the driveway. The driver and the men directing him demonstrated caution, skill, and patience. Cleanup was very good. I highly recommend this company if you need any trees trimmed or removed..

I had trees in my back yard trimmed - the men who came were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to talk with me about the general state of the trees. They also offered to do a few other things to help my yard look good. And they were great about cleaning up the limbs as well as raking the grass to ensure things were left in wonderful shape. All this should be expected I suppose - but what was above and beyond was that they noticed a few things along the line between my yard and my neighbors and offered to clean those up as well (stumps, some basice tree clean up). When I said that I was not sure if the neighbors were home they went over and knocked. Not only did they do a few things, but I know that my neighbor was impressed as well with the professionalism, the advice, and the all around good nature these men had. In the past I have just used this service for snow removal in the winter, but I was thinking about getting some smaller trees for the back yard and I know I will be calling them again. An all around great experience!

Their arborist came out to do a survey and estimate about a month before they did the tree trimming. All the work on five trees (four trimmed, one extensively and one tree removal) was done in one day. We also had them treat one tree for the emerald ash borer (which lasts two years). The staff was courteous, efficiency and cleaned up all the branches, leaves and litter left over after the trimming. I will probably have them return next spring to remove another tree that's mostly dead now and do more trimming on several shrubs.

My experience with affordable Tree Care was great from the communication before the service (tree removal) was done - estimates, setting service times, etc - to the service itself. My crab tree they removed was in the back yard, right next to my house with power and cable lines running through the branches posing many obstacles. The guys were friendly, prompt and cleaned up great. I will use Affordable Tree Care again to plant some things in place of the tree that was removed. Excellent all around.

The job went exactly as any customer wants. No hassles, job done safe, fast and correctly at a fair price. We didn't have to do a thing except pay them.This is the second time we have hired this company to cut down trees. It was easy to get an estimate and set appointment. ATS called Julie to ensure no underground utilities. Tradesmen are impressive in their knowledge and speed. Husband watched them and said "they really know what they are doing". They bring a chipper with them to grind up branches and foilage. They even trimmed a couple of branches that they noticed on another tree. There is no evidence at the tree site that they were there. They clean up all the mess. We still have two logs laying in the parkway that would not fit in the truck they brought with them. If by some chance a truck doesn't come today or tomorrow to remove those logs, then I will call and remind them.Recommend highly.

Had noticed a possible borer infestation to my trees and called for an examination. Company sent out an arborist within a day who examined my trees and diagnosed the problem. Solution was to inject an insecticide directly into the trunk of the trees. Arborist answered all my questions and the work was scheduled. Within 24 hours of scheduling the service, the work was performed. Both arborist and staff were very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this service highly.

never heard from them Update 03/04/13: THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK

We had a large locust tree (24" diameter trunk, 40' high) that was situated between our home and our driveway. It was about 10' from either. The branches of the tree were scraping against the roof shingles (we have a very high 2-story home), and providing an easy access route for squirrels to get on our roof and into the attic. The tree had to go. I contacted Affordable Tree Care via their internet site, and they responded within 24 hours. We made arrangements for me to mark the tree, so that they could have their arborist come over and give us a quote. We received the quote within a week (slight delay due to the Thanksgiving holiday), and we found their quote to be fair. We specifically asked for the tree to be carefully brought down, so as not to damage the home, or block the driveway. I told them that my neighbor and I would take care of the debris. I signed and returned the work agreement, and was told that they would call me approximately 1-2 days before they would preform the work. This was the only part of the process that I did not find to be "Excellent", since it was another two weeks before the work was performed. I still rate them "Good" in responsiveness, because they must have just had other jobs already on the schedule, They brought down the tree in sections, and I was very satisfied with their work. This is clearly a very professional operation (they provided a certificate of insurance with their quote, and had all of the large equipment necessary to get the job done safely), and performed the job in a very professional manner. I would definitely use them again.
