This was the second time we used their services. A different technician came out this time. He knew it was an older heater and explained everything was good with it. He fixed the mechanism with our thermostat and rewired it. He also installed the wall unit at no additional cost.

It went fine. They came out right away and were on time. They really didn't do anything, they just came out and looked at it and left.

I am going to call them back this summer to check my air conditioner. I was very impressed because he did a thorough job. I can recommend them 100 percent. I would use them in the future.

Clark Heating checked it out and found that several parts needed to be replaced. Due to the age of the furnace and the cost of replacing these parts I decided to invest in a new furnace. They were very helpful in deciding what I needed as far as a replacement and came out the next day to install the new furnace. They have a very efficient crew who installed the new furnace and I was very happy with their work. I would definitely recommend Clark Heating & Cooling and will use them in the future if needed.

They did air conditioner repair. Air conditioner did blow cold air. The reason was one of the electric cables was damaged by heat at the contact point, burned. So the service technicians replaced the damaged cable, and all the other cables.

As usual, Jeremy was prompt, courteous, and did a great job. We had a whole house humidifier installed today and I can already feel the difference just a few hours later. It took about 2 hours to install, and the installation looks very nice/professional. It is nice that this is a fully automatic unit with the important outside temperature sensor so I don't have to worry about adjusting the humidity setting all the time. Very pleased!

Cannot say enough positive things. We moved into our home two years ago. It is about 23 year old construction. We replaced windows and doors last year and didn't really worry about the furnace and heat pump since it was a six year old Carrier system. No problems until we hit 20 below zero temps. The heat pump was set up to run regardless of the outside temps and the secondary heat was electric. A perfect storm. We had the heat pump cut out and it didn't cut over to the secondary heat. We woke up to temps in the 50's and the electric meter spinning. Set the thermostat to emergency heat and looked for someone to take a look at the problem. Spoke to a neighbor that recommended Clark. Sent an email to the contact on the a Web site and asked them if they serviced Carrier. Got a reply from Keith almost immediately. Told him we were okay for heat short term but needed a fix. We talked on the phone shortly thereafter and he brought his Carrier guy out. They walked through the house looked at everything and we discussed the issues. The heat pump was working fine, but a rodent chewed wire affected the outside temp sensor. Even with the basic fix, we still had the issue of the electric heat which resulted in a $300 electric bill. Since we were planning to add on to the house in the next year, we knew we would have to upgrade the heating capacity at some point. This just made the decision easier. Just by coincidence, Keith had a customer that had just converted from LP to natural gas and had an LP tank for sale at a reasonable pride. Keith made the calls and we able to make the whole thing happen in a couple of days. The Clark crew came out and finished the job in one day. They were able to run new gas piping and exterior venting for the new furnace through floor trusses in the finished basement without having to cut any interior drywall. They covered the carpets and essentially left no trace that any work had ever been done. Just really outstanding work. With the new furnace and air returns, the house is the most comfortable it has ever been. We still have our heat pump, so we get the best energy efficiency without having to have replaced the entire system. Just can't say enough good about the planning and the work done by the crew. p.s. The installers are all Clark employees. They don't sub-contract any of their work.

It went well. I thought that he was very honest with things that we needed to do in the future. Otherwise, it was very good.

I had purchased a special deal for a seasonal furnace inspection/cleaning about a month ago for $77. It took about 10 days for Clark Heating & Cooling to contact us. Then we got busy and didn't call to set up the appt. STUPID move on our part! Monday 12/16/13 we came home to the thermostat saying 61 degrees when per our program it should have been 65 degrees. I fiddled with it a bit, husband flipped the breaker on the furnace and the furnace came on only to shut off again. More fiddling with the furnace itself and it would come on but no heat. BETTER CALL CLARK! Our voice message was answered within 10 minutes and a repairman was at our house in New Glarus within 35 minutes (he came from Oregon). Pleasant man, kind, thorough....and educated us. Turns out there was condensation and "gunk" built up in a drip pan which was causing wires to short out. He checked the rest of the furnace and was gone within 30 minutes. I was a bit surprised that an inspection and cleaning would be finished that quickly.We do have to pay after hours rate on top of the $77 inspection I had purchased but that is still cheaper than one of us needing to stay home from work the next day for a service call. furnace check-up and cleaning and new filter; very courteous, no problems

Technician found the gas pressure was low and adjusted it. Furnace is putting out a lot of heat now. Very happy with the service and will use them again next year.

He was unable to get my furnace to work. He tired for about a half an hour and it would not start. I called my home insurance and they got a different company out that was able to get it up and running. To be fair the guy they called had worked on my particular furnace before many times and it took him an hour to get it up and running.

Furnace checkup "big deal" - they seem very thorough, come on time or early, check everything over. I'm happy with this service and will use them again.

When Jeremy arrived, he found out the Aprilaire humidifier was not even attached to the furnace, so he wired a control and got it working. He changed the filters for both the furnace and the humidifier and did a great job. He called asking if he could arrive early, and then made a second trip when he realized my problem. He explained everything to me and what needs to be done in the future. I found Jeremy very professional and I appreciated his attention to detail.

He did not push me to buy a new one. Could not ask for better service.

They did a furnace check-up. They granted my request for an early morning appointment on a particular day. The technician arrived in time, he did a great job, changed some filters, answered many questions we had and gave us some advice concerning other questions concerning heating in our house. Excellent!

Performed diagnostic on the furnace.

Clark Heating performed an annual service on our Lennox furnace, and also replace the water panel in our Aprilaire humidifier. Everything went perfectly well. Each time the Clark service person has come to my house, he has taught me something new about our furnace or AC. I plan to continue using Clark Heating with or without an Angie's deal.

Jeremy arrived on time and got started right away. He found one part that was cracked and leaking and needed replacing. He checked the running of the furnaces, finished the job and was on his way. As far as price goes, I purchased a big deal for the furnace maintenance. We paid separately for the April Aire servicing. I don't recall the amount. I was disappointed in one thing. After we had our service done, the provider ran another, lower price big deal. I asked Angie's list to see if they would refund the difference between the two big deal prices. The provider refused, saying that it was a limited time offer. I do understand that, but after purchasing 2 furnaces and a central air unit and using their service for over 10 years of maintenance, I thought they might have provided the discount. There were other big deals on Angie's list I could have chosen that were significantly less expensive, but I was loyal to the provider we had used for years.

Timely, friendly, knowledgeable. Did not try to sell services we don't need. Gave good advice on when to change filter etc.

Everything was done according to the items on the checklist. The technician was courteous and professional. We were very pleased with the complete job. We will probably have them again next year.
