+ -1 moreWhat a nightmare. Came later than expected but did call and say they were running late. First thing was to hook their truck into my bathroom faucet. Never heard of this before. Something happened and as they were working downstairs water started dripping from ceiling. Bathroom check revealed flood in cabinet and on bathroom floor with water running into finished basement below. Guys unhooked from that faucet and attached to basement bathroom faucet and something happened. They decided my faucets were not working correctly, packed up and left... We were left to clean up water in bathrooms (2), and water in ceiling. The day ended with ruined cold air return, ceiling tiles, and uncleaned carpets. Called plumber immediately ($85) at which point I was to,d there was absolutely nothing wrong with my faucets. Plumber guessed it was in the way they hooked up and possibly backwash from their truck.. Stanley Steemer says not true. Will have to spend the weekend on fixing and cleanup detail because we have out of town company next weekend for a wedding. Another carpet cleaner adjusted their schedule due to my predicament and will be here first thing Monday morning to clean. Not sure if Stanley Steemer plans to reimburse for damage or not. Didn't sound like they were very interested so I may have my insurance company fight it out. This won't let me add pics otherwise I would show the proof.
