Description of Work: I used ERNIE FELTZ CONSTRUCTION

Description of Work: I called Ernie Felstz for an estimate and we setup a time and date for him to come to my house and look over the job I needed done. He came to my house personally and exactly when agreed. Ernie was very friendly, and clearly in a mild and professional manner explained what he needed to do to get an estimate. I agreed, and he went to work. It took about a half hour or so, I stepped out and watched him as he took measurements, curiously he was looking at various places on the roof, and taking notes. After this was done, he came back to me and we both did a walk around while he explained what he was doing, why, and what he had found. During that time he had pointed out various other problems he had found and pointed out the ones he could fix while reroofing and others that he recommended that I might want to have fixed in the near future. I also asked him if he could lift a portion of the roof so I could have a bathroom fan installed and that he could put in a roof vent. After this, he sat down with me and asked if I was interested in a particular color and type of shingle. I told him of my financial situation and that I would be able to spend an amount to replace the roof, put the fan in and not much more. I also told him that it would be good if I could still have a little in my savings account so I don't get charged from my bank since they charge me if my account drops to a certain point. Ernie seemed to know exactly what I needed, he sat down and figured out a quote, then explained to me everything. I was very much amazed that he included everything down to the letter. All the things I wanted done and all that he suggested just fit my budget except that I needed to get a little extra in the savings so the bank would not charge me. Ernie was very understanding and told me to think about it and give him a call. He also explained that the manufacturer may have a discount for veterans and that he would check if I was in service. I called Ernie a few days later and asked if he could honor the quote for a few months and he agreed. I told him about the situation with the bank and explained that I have the money for the job, but the bank would charge me if I didn't have a minimum amount in my savings. He agreed and we waited. A few months went by and I got a call from Ernie, he asked me if i was ready to do the job, I told him that I was close and that I know that the weather was permitting for him to do the job. He explained that he could hold the payment till the end of the month, so I agreed to have them have them start. We agreed on the next day.
