Eagle Tree Care did an amazing job at our house. They were prompt and extremely professional, our yard looks great. If looking for tree service, I would highly recommend Eagle Tree Care.

From quote to tree removal it was no more than 3 days, Totally professional and polite crew. And the total cost came in less than the quote so we were pleased with that.

They showed up as scheduled, did an excellent job, were very communicative, efficient and cleaned up nicely. They stayed within the quote given (which was very reasonable) and asked questions to ensure they kept within our non-profit's budget. I'm very happy about it and certainly would call on them again.

We have used Eagle Tree Care several times and the quality of their work has always been exceptional. However, we do have an issue with John’s business practices. In July 2019 we received an estimate of $1582.50 for removing and pruning several trees on our lot. We accepted the quote in mid-July and the work was scheduled for later that month. The big storm hit the area the weekend before our work was to be done and Eagle contacted us to say that they would be postponing our job for a while. In early September, we received a backdated and revised estimate from Eagle increasing the total to $2152.20, an increase of $569.70. When we questioned the increase, John told us they had purchased some new equipment. Our options were to accept the higher quote or find another tree service to do the work. We feel that changing the rate of an accepted and scheduled job is unethical. We agreed on a price and feel that the job should legally be done at that rate. Any increase in rates should be applied to future jobs, not backdated to previously contracted jobs. It’s unlikely that we will ever use Eagle Tree Care again and will definitely no longer recommend them to neighbors and friends.

John showed up on the day after labor day when the weather was windy and rainy. That alone said alot about his professioanlism to me. He cut up and chipped one tall evergreen tree which uprooted and laid on the grass not far from the road. Three trees were uprooted just offshore, and caught in a different tree, posing a risk of falling if the supporting tree gave way. He was able to remove the risk by cutting the three trunks about 4-5 feet above the waterline. He removed the long trunks from the shore and pulled them up a bank and used them to create the benches to sit on at the fire ring. He said the other uprooted aspen would be better to remove when the lake was frozen. He plans to return and cut this at the level just above the ice. He says he will pull that trunk up the bank and leave it at the roadside for anybody who needs firewood. As he predicted at this time all of the wood has been taken. He trimmed up any broken branches he saw and removed anything hung up in the trees from the storm. He did a nice job. He had two young fellows who worked independently in the morning and then they broke for lunch and John came then with a different fellow. The two guys that worked alone in the morning left and John began working with one helper. John created the awesome benches at the fire ring in under two hours time mostly himself while the other guy raked out the chips for me around the yard. The job site was clean and looked nice when they left for the day. John said he would send me a balance. He sent it by email promptly. He charged me just under what he proposed for the job. My only issue was I still had one tree uprooted and standing in the lake with no mention of the work yet to be completed on this tree. I mulled this over for some time and asked a few family and friends to weigh in on what they thought about a proposal to remove trees damaged in a storm and get the bill with no account for the damaged tree still standing. Afterall, I was pleased with what they had been able to do with making log benches, and the trees were no longer at risk of falling. They were very professional, the yard was looking much better, and the work is clearly hard work!!! So, friends said call him and ask about the job not finished and the cost associated with that. John was very professional and pointed out the extra work not on the proposal of the benches being set, as well as some limbs on our lot next door that needed chipping by the two guys in the morning and the fact that I agreed to the other fellow raking the chips around the yard which John said took him about two hours. John was very professioanl and solved the issue by sending an additional proposal for the uncut tree with an explaination of how long it should take to do that job, and the cost. I feel confident that John will get the uprooted tree taken down as he has agreed this winter. I will hire them again and I have told the neighbors that he is very good to work with. He is fair and honest and a hard working, decent, level headed fellow. He can make awesome log benches also!!

Great, the 3 who came to cut were very courteous and efficient. From cut down to clean up! The removal of the stumps went well and they did a pretty clean job!

I am finding it ridiculously difficult to get prompt, reliable service nowadays while updating and remodeling my home. I contacted eagle tree care for a quote on a Sunday, they showed up to walk the property and gave me a quote by Monday evening, and the work (which was a TON of work by the way), was done within 1.5 days later that week. If even half of the people we hired to work on our home were so prompt, I’d be a SUPER happy lady... but no such luck. This company is one of a kind! John was very helpful in teaching me about each tree on my property, so that I could make an informed decision about which ones to cut down, and which ones to keep. At first, I was tempted to get another quote to see if I could get the work done for cheaper, but after getting burned before by other companies who fail to show, fail to finish the job, or end up charging twice what they initially quoted... I decided to stick with Eagle Tree Care, and it’s the best decision we have made thus far with regards to our home. I cannot thank them enough, and will be sure to contact them again for any of our tree needs.

Crew was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Did a nice job of avoiding the house, deck and other trees as they performed the work. Kept me informed every step of the way. I added the removal of 2 larger red pines and they were able to work within the original estimates. Very satisfied with the work done. They will be the first contractor I call when I need more trees removed/maintained!

Excellent! The 2 workers introduced themselves, worked efficiently, were careful of my property/other landscaping. They verified what I wanted done. They trimmed out the old dead branches as well as a fee living ones that were crowded and needed to be removed. The worker that was cutting down the limbs was an arborist which I feel is important in knowing how to trim trees. I live in a busy neighborhood and the guys were cognizant of students that were dismissed from school and walking on the sidewalk. They waited until the work area was clear of pedestrians prior to sawing down limbs. Clean up was efficient and thorough including my lawn, the sidewalk and my driveway. I would gladly hire Eagle Tree Service and highly recommend their services. My tree now looks so healthy compared to prior to their work!

No follow up occurred for the assessment onsite and estimate, therefore the service was never completed. Disappointed with the lack of response after several messages/emails and voicemail. One response indicating someone would be in touch to schedule the initial meeting to review the work needed for a quote. No one ever contacted me again and I used a different service that was responsive.

John, owner, and his hard working employees cut down, removed and cleaned up 12 trees for me. 9 were 40 ft spruce. Two located 15 feet from our attached garage on one side and 7 located 20 ft on the opposite side. Also three 35' Locust trees. They are the best tree service company in central Wisconsin for: punctuality, trimming, cut down and removal, cleanup, sticking to quotation provided and fair pricing of your job for work done! John provided a thorough quote, providing options for the work to be done. Turnaround time on emails was quick. He called the morning the work was to be completed to confirm the time that the crew would arrive. They arrived on time, cut the tree down and trimmed trees around the deck within 2 hours. Clean up was excellent - and the whole crew was very courteous. I would definitely hire them again.

The tree removal went amazing, from the time i contacted Eagle Tree Care until all the clean up was complete. They removed 8 giant pines that were located very close to my home, and left my property looking as clean as it was when they arrived.

They were able to do the work within a week of giving the estimate, and showed up on time. They performed the work in a very professional way and cleaned up everything.
