Person who came to give estimate was professional and easy to understand. A different person came for the installation who was a little less knowledgable about the situation, but was able to complete the job and figure out unforeseen space complications. The actual cost was within the estimate but at the high end.

Heading into a holiday weekend, I dug into a project and found major cast iron plumbing problems. Chet's came right out and knocked out an estimate almost immediately, and ultimately quite a bit less than the competition. They showed up as planned the next day and those two men hustled for a day and a half, finishing the job a half day ahead of schedule - leaving time to add on a little work in the kitchen. Some pipes weren't quite plumb, but everything pitched correctly, there were no leaks and it's invisible in the walls in the end. They even worked with me to leave some items only 95% roughed in allowing me to finish my project and glue the last few joints when I was ready.

We were in the process of purchasing a home and 2 weeks before closing the old fuel oil furnace "died" on the previous owners. Chet's was very responsive on meeting us at the house and providing us with a comprehensive bid, which was needed for the realty negotiation. We closed on 12/3/2012 and Chet's had a full crew at the new house all day on 12/4/12 and 12/5/12. They were very professional, laying down drop cloths wherever they walked, cleaning up any additonal debris and asking questions as worked progressed. The removal of the old furnace also required removal of a wood stove that was still working alongside the furnace system (which could not be "hooked up" to the new system due to ventilation issues). The workers did an excellent job removing it and cleaning up. The laundry relocation job was also somewhat challenging and took a day to complete. The house is a quad-level, further complicating the job. The original laundry was also set up for an electric dryer while the new one was to be set up for a gas dryer. All the plumbing and venting was installed where we wanted it to fit our design. We were very happy with all the work that was performed. The addition of the "slop sink" came after being in the house about a month. Again, Chet's was very responsive to our call, had a worker out to the sight the next day to complete the job.

It went great. Chet's always does a good job.

Couple of times I had to call them before the last time as it was an emergency situation and they come right away and fix it. They do a really good job. They never make a mess. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
