concrete repair
+ -1 moreAs they were working on the wall, I came home after work and noticed that the 50 foot wall was built and the side of the hill was cut into; in lieu of building it course by course, backfilling with gravel, and tieing it into the hill for stability. I told them before they gave me a bid that the hill gets wet in the spring and early summer (springs). They ended up backfilling with sand only. The 50 foot wall collapsed within 1.5 years and was never rebuilt. The 24 foot wall was rebuilt into a horseshoe shape, extended, and backfilled with gravel for better stability. It later began leaning. They promised to fix it, but never returned. The patio has large cracks (2 inches and greater) across the whole patio. No money was ever rebated.
Description of Work: Built a 50 foot retaining wall, a 24 foot retaining wall, and a stamped concrete patio.
