About us

What began as a passion for plants with Frank & Elna Missinne in 1978, has now grown into one of the most respected and successful family-owned operations in the Northland. The second generation Missinne daughters, Mary & Lori, and son-in-law Chuck Ritchie, continued to expand the familys operation until 2012, when Chuck & Lori began new chapters in their lives. In this 2013 season, Mary Missinne carries on the family tradition and invites you to take a drive out to the garden center for a remarkable gardening experience! We understand that gardeners want plants that are simple to maintain, offer quick results and make a positive impact on the value of lives and homes. Description of Work: Promised to start last fall but because of early winter couldn't do any thing. Understandable. Was told that my project would be early in the spring weather permitting. Follow up e-mails had to be pursued. Phone calls not returned.
