The owner, John was very responsive, which was a plus. I had called last Monday to set up an appointment around 4pm which was close to the end of their business day but didn't leave a message. I was going to call the next day but he called me back at 4:30, after their hours of business. Was friendly over the phone. The appointment was set up for yesterday but he called to change the day because of rain. He worked with me to get the cleaning done today. The crew was ahead of schedule and came 1.5 hrs early which worked out ok for me. Afterwards, they let me know the condition of the chimney and how it looked on the inside. Also gave a recommendation on how often it should be cleaned based on use. Will definitely use this company again!

It was quick and easy to schedule them and have the work done. I have not had any problems with the chimney since then.

I spent about $500 for the chimney repair. They also did some tuck pointing. I highly recommend them. They were efficient and prompt. They did a great job. They answered all my questions. They cleaned up after themselves. They were wonderful. They did a great job and they deserve my recommendation. I will use them again in the future.

Excellent service! They had the job done within a week of our first call. There was a small piece of new duct in our basement that was a bit too low for me ( I kept hitting my head on it...) They came back the next day and adjusted it perfectly, with no extra cost. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Jon was able to come out quickly for an estimate. He is very friendly and professional. His workers were able to start the next week. They were very nice and professional. We had to call Jon about some additional questions we had and he was very polite and quick in following up with us and providing us with our answers. Would recommend.

The 2 workers that showed up were prompt and courteous, finishing the work efficiently. They took the time to answer my questions and clearly have pride in the work that they do.

Two men arrived ahead of scheduled time and went right to work. Spread out drop-cloth and brought in vacuum cleaner. One did the outside work while the other worked inside. (wish they had a longer vacuum hose that would place the vacuum outside rather than in the room - didn't notice anything coming out of the vacuum, but I'm sure there was something coming out - I could feel the vacuum exhaust 20 feet away). They cleaned out the fire place and folded up the tarp. Both happily accepted some Christmas cookies.

We called to get an estimate, John came by same day, we gave the go ahead. Shortly after, he called to say a crew had finished a job and could do ours, which they did very quickly, efficiently and neatly.

It went very well. They were on time, polite, friendly, and neat. I thought that it was a fair price. I talked to a few other chimney cleaners and some where charging considerably more that what I paid. A year after these services, I had my house inspected and found out that one of the chimneys they cleaned had a lot of creasote. I don't think they cleaned the chimney as well as they could have because I hardly ever use that fireplace. The other chimney (which I use frequently in the winter) was determined ok by the inspector. Thinking back on the service, I do note that I had many questions about the brushes they were using.

I got their listing from Angie's list and sent an email asking about price. I received a prompt reply giving a price which was much less than others I had contacted. It was also the total for the job they performed. The two men who came to service the fireplace/chimney were both very personal and professional. They did a great job in less than an hour. Unknown to me until this morning, my wife called the owner to compliment the men who came to the house.

They arrived promptly at 12:00. They were very courteous. They clenaed the chimney and checked the cap. They were very careful to contain any soot or dirt from the cleaning. I entire cleaning took about 30 - 45 minutes. The cost was exactly what they told me it would be when I called to make the appointment.

Excellent job. Saved money over the next closest competitor. Sweeper was very friendly. I am hoping that shaking hands with him will indeed bring good luck. That part has not yet been verified.

The experience was very good. Prompt, friendly, and professional. They recommending cleaning our chimney on a 3-5 year schedule (it had been 5-6 years since the fireplace was new). Also, he spent a few minutes to tell me how to replace a broken part in my fireplace. This was much appreciated.

I noticed my furnace's connection to the chimney had rusted out and had a sheet metal contractor come and take a look at it. He said that a chimney liner needed to be installed because the flue liner in my chimney was broken and he didn't install chimney liners. I located a chimney liner specialist on Angie's List and had him do the work.

The owner, John, provided an estimate within a few days of when I called him. In one day, John and his workers ground out the old mortar, tuckpointed the seams, and cleaned up the job site. I am pleased with the results.

In general, I had a good experience with Milwaukee Chimney Contractors. They were on time and the price was reasonable. I did not like that one of the workers threw a concrete ring from the roof down to the lawn. It did some damage to the lawn. I appreciated that the crew was able to come right away. The work completed was very good. I would use them again in the future.

They did a great job. They were pretty responsive. Scheduling the repair work was easy enough. They honored the estimated price that they had given me. Everything is working fine since they worked on the chimney.
