+ -1 moreJT Painting was GREAT! He responded in a timely fashion, and he arrived on time for our appointment. His price for the work was more than reasonable, and he completed the job within the time he stated. I definitely would recommend JT painting. As a bonus, he repaired a section of my gutter that was broken for no cost.
Description of Work: He scraped and stained the redwood panels located on the front of my ranch-style home, including the redwood trim on the garage. He cleaned and repaired my gutters, and installed gutter guards on the gutters.

+ -1 moreI was upset to pay this much; I didn't expect a total makeover; just screens.
Description of Work: I had been taking my screens to be replaced to Ace Hardware where the total is around $20.00 per screen. John said he would do it. However, he took them to a screen shop, where they replaced the frames, which I didn't need. It came up to $97.00, however, because John was up north for weeks, he gave me a 10% discount. Also, I asked for aluminum, and he got fiberglass. So, I continued with fiberglass, thereafter.

+ -1 moreJohn seemed a nice man but often didn't show up because he said he took his mom to the Dr. As the time went by the work got worse; either he was in pain or bored.
Description of Work: He removed an old laundry tub that had been leaking and ruining the floor and wall behind it. I had to go for the laundry tub or he would have charged me. With his materials and labor, it came to $200.00. He had to call his dad because he wasn't sure of how to do something. Shortly after the job, I noticed my floor all wet again and it was leaking again. This time I called a plumber, who said the tub was done all wrong. He also called a friend to help put my sofa bed in storage. He charged me $40.00 to take it 6 miles.

+ -1 moreJOHN RETURNED CALLS PROMPTLY AND PERFORMED HIS WORK IN A TIMELY AND POLITE MANNER. JOHN IS VERY CREATIVE WHEN HE WAS WORKING WITH OUR OLD SCREEN HOUSE. SINCE THERE WASN'T A STRAIGHT LINE IN THE PLACE, HE WAS VERY RESOURCEFUL AND REPLACED ROTTEN BOARDS WITH BETTER ONES AND RETROFITTED SOME OTHERS, USING THE LEAST AMOUNT OF NEW MATERIAL AS POSSIBLE. JOHN PUT NEW SCREENING AROUND THE ENTIRE SCREEN HOUSE AND WE'RE HAPPY TO SAY IT'S A NICE LITTLE GETAWAY WITHOUT HAVING TO GET IN THE CAR. I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN.
Description of Work: FRESHENED UP A 1950'S SCREEN HOUSE IN THE BACK OF OUR YARD.

+ 0 moreI COULDN'T FIND ANYONE THAT WOULD TOUCH THE JOB FOR LESS THAN $2000. HIS WORK IS FABULOUS! I WANTED TO KEEP THE WORK AS CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL AS POSSIBLE. THE SCREENS WERE IN TERRIBLE SHAPE AND HE HAD TO RE-BUILD THEM FROM SCRAP. HE TAKES PRIDE IN HIS WORK AND I WAS UTTERLY AMAZED!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!
