Description of Work: Of the 5 companies I called for an estimate, Windy Acres took the longest to return my call. They scheduled an appointment, for which they arrived nearly 30 minutes late, without apology. They measured my yard for concrete landscape curbing. Durning the process, while asking me questions and talking about their product, Wendy asked me how / why I knew so much about curbing. When I told her that I'd already had some other estimates and had done some research on the internet, she seemed shocked and surprised, as if I should just take her word for everything and talking to others was discouraged. In showing them the areas we needed, the gentleman with her, I think he was her husband / co-owner, tried to suggest changing the size / shape of my planting beds. I was unsure, but thought I'd rather have it as it was. Even as I was telling her that, he got a can of spray paint and started marking lines in my grass & across my mulching. I insisted that it was fine as it was, but the marks were already made, and I would just have to wait for them to "grow out" with multiple mowings, leaving me with birghtly colored paint lines in my yard! Overall, their estimate seemed to be in the same ballpark as all the others, yet it was the least detailed and did not specify what it did or did not include, nor any detail about a warranty (which all the other estimates had printed on the same forms). this company is also a landscape company, not just a landscape curbing company, so they do offer to deliver some mulch for free. In the end, I did not even ask for references, as I just did not feel comfortable with them.
