Guy Martin of Martin Electric is a state licensed Master Electrician and has significant experience providing electrical services both directly and as a subcontractor for kitchen remodeling companies, heating and cooling companies and other contractors as well as growing up in the trade. He was actually recommended to me by my heating and cooling contractor. Based on our discussions both before and during the project, it was clear to me that Guy had much more experience than other electricians I have worked with in the past or requested to quote on my project. Guy was on the job the entire time working with his brother Jay and they made a great team. I was also impressed by how Guy made sure he communicated his daily start and end times as well as project updates and what they would be working on each day. They were always punctual, extremely easy to talk to and very pleasant to everyone in the family. Their work output was top notch and clearly reflected the fact that a Master Electrician was working on the job the entire time as opposed to many electrical contractors that bid the project but then send relatively inexperienced electricians out to do the work, while hardly reviewing it. Working with Martin Electric was extremely enjoyable and was one of the rare times where the result of the entire project greatly exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend Martin Electric to anyone looking for high quality electrical work at a very fair price coupled with professional customer service. I plan to ask Martin Electric to come back in the spring to perform some additional outdoor electrical projects.
Description of Work: Martin Electric installed 7 new recessed lights, undercabinet lights and new island lighting (all on separate dimmer switches) in my kitchen in addition to adding outlets in the kitchen and wiring all outlets to be GFCI. He also installed 3 new bathroom fans, 2 new outdoor outlets and installed numerous new outlets, switches and lighting fixtures in other areas throughout the house, basement and outside workshop. He also installed a whole house surge protector for the electrical panel. The amount of work he performed was so extensive that it took he and his brother nearly two weeks to complete the job.
