Zack, the exterminator, was very knowledgeable and treated areas that were "at risk" this time of year, just to make sure we didn't have any additional problems. He answered all of my questions and was great at explaining the wasp problem. If we had any future needs, I will call Advanced Wildlife Control.
Description of Work: We were experiencing wasp issues outside of our home and in the attic. I scheduled an appointment, and they sent Zack out. He was prompt professional and took care of all the wasps - inside and out - in the same visit.

 + -1 moreThe gentleman who came was punctual, courteous, and worked to solve the problem. When an odor returned that indicated another mouse had died between the wall, he returned to find yet another entry place and to replenish the bait traps. We will definitely call them again for future problems if we have any.
Description of Work: We had a problem with mice getting into our basement and between the walls of our house. They found the entry points outside and fixed them and set bait traps in the area.

 + -1 moreMy main complaint is actually about Angies list. If we would have called this company directly instead of buying the so called deal through Angies list we would have paid 30 dollars less. Buyers beware about these so called deals. The rodents are gone, so that is the good news, and the company has called us for a follow up visit now. So I believe the service from Advanced Wildlife Management was actually fair to good.

 + -1 moreCouldn't be happier. He was very knowledgable, professional and friendly. He explained everything he was doing as he did it and answered all of my questions with a smile.
Description of Work: I'd been having an issue with mice getting into my basement. Mike came out and assessed the situation inside and out, asked lots of thoughtful questions and then went to work on securing the points of entry, so they'd be unable to make my house their favorite spot in the neighborhood. He also placed bait boxes around the perimeter of the house as a secondary defense. I asked a lot of questions, since I have a dog and there are several others in the area, and I was sensitive to any harm coming to them. He assured me that there was no way for the dogs to get into the bait boxes and that the mice (even if ingested—eeew!) would not harm our dogs. He explained everything every step of the way and even came back a few weeks later to follow up. My house has been mouse free ever since and I have great peace of mind knowing that Mike did everything he could, and then some, to remedy the problem.

 + 0 moreIt was a great experience all around; we live in the country and were wanting to make sure we had no possibility for mice (or chipmunks) or voles to enter around our foundation, or through the garage. We will keep using Advanced Wildlife Control to maintain control of any pests--none heard or found and it is great have that peace of mind!
Description of Work: Advanced Wildlife promptly contacted us and set up a time to meet at our home. The technician arrived punctually, was very friendly and professional. He performed an inspection for possible entry points and had with him the equipment needed to solve the problem. He returned for a follow up in fall, and will come again later this month to follow up.

 + 0 moreAdvanced Wildlife has been performing pest control at my home for several years. They come out quarterly to check and refill the bait boxes around the house to control mice and voles. When the critter activity increased, they added another bait box. Late summer I noticed an insect nest under the eaves - on the next visit they removed it along with the regular maintenance. I can't ask for anymore in a service company - they answer the phone, respond promptly to any questions or concerns, come as scheduled and do what is expected. Excellent service! I will continue to use them as long as I have critter problems.

 + 0 moreThe first service person was not able to complete the job due to inability to climb a ladder after knee surgery, so a second person was sent to take care of the squirrels. Both were polite and it appeared very thorough. We were told the costs up front and had one issue with billing that was cleared up instantly. We have not had any problems since the service was performed. Overall a very professional business that we would be happy to do business with again.
Description of Work: We had mice in the house and a squirrel problem in our attic that they took care of. They baited the mice and sealed the access points. The squirrels were trapped in live traps on the roof, and the access point was stuffed with paper. Once that stayed in place for a few days they came back and sealed the access point with mesh and caulk.

 + 0 moreThe technician quickly found the hole where mice were entering our basement. A small piece of mortar had fallen out from the stonework. He patched the hole and checked all around the foundation for any other possible openings which he also patched. Three outdoor traps were placed to discourage any remaining mice and removed one month later. The problem was solved--no more mice. The entire job took only an hour. It would've taken us much longer to find the entry hole, ourselves.
Description of Work: Plugged openings in foundation to stop mice from entering basement; placed outdoor traps for one month.

 + -1 moreThey were very late arriving, but they did call to inform me they were running late. When they got here, they did a great job. They listened and did a great job convincing me the mice were not in the house (yet). A week or so after they came out I noticed mice in the garage which I hadn't noticed previously. They came out same day and put traps in the garage as well. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. Very professional and knowledgeable.
Description of Work: I had many sighting of mice outside of my house. They came out and looked around the house and inside the house and put out poison traps (not sure what its exactly called).

Zach found and fixed where the mice were getting in- thank goodness! Great service, plus it is Zach we will always have so he will know the history and the house. Very happy.

 + -1 moreWorkers in my basement informed me that they roused an opossum. They managed to chase it outside but when they went back to continue their work they discovered that another opossum was sleeping in the rafter area, Needless to say, I was not happy. I made several calls and received only recorded messages until I called Advanced Wildlife Control. Scott arrived within the estimated time and promptly took care of caging and removing the opossum. A neighbor who was going to look at the unwanted opening arrived just as Scott was getting ready to leave. Scott explained where the opening was, under an overhang, and suggested what to do. My neighbor was able to close it up.

 + -1 moreWe called Advanced on a Saturday because we were hearing noises above our sun room and at the same time, a light fixture fell loose from the ceiling. By chance, Scott was right in our neighborhood and came over within minutes of our call. He was very professional and helpful and we learned quite a bit from his visit. As it turned out, we had no further disturbance in our sun room, and an electrician helped us piece together the coincidences that made us think there were squirrels. Even though we were mistaken about the problem, we were glad we had Scott check around our house, and glad to know someone to call if we have any animal control issues in the future.
Description of Work: We thought we had squirrels in our attic. Scott did a thorough check for possible points of entry--outside the house, roof, inside the garage and attic. He placed traps as well as a temporary covering over a possible entry point to see if it would be disturbed. He made multiple phone calls to check back in with us over the next week and a half, but we had no further sign of squirrels. He picked up the cages and said that if we had any more problems within 60 days there would be no charge for another service call.

 + -1 moreI kept seeing something in the back yard that seemed larger than a squirrel, but it kept hiding. Finally one day I looked out the window and saw a big old critter hanging out in a pile of dirt next to my shed. Dirt from under my shed. It was a woodchuck building a nest and I wasn't having it. Advanced WIldlife Control set up an appointment within a day or two, came out and told my husband what the procedure was and set traps for us. Around 12 hours later, we had our uninvited guest caught! They have round the clock phone service so I was able to to call very early in the morning to let them know there was a live animal in the trap, so they were able to get out pretty early in the day to take him away so it didn't suffer in a cage in hot sun. They left one trap behind and we kept an eye on it and they came to check it a few times over the next couple weeks. No more woodchucks were captured! Yay!
Description of Work: They came out and set traps for us and then came back to remove the woodchuck about 18 hours after the traps were set! They left one trap in place in case there was more than one for a couple weeks. When nothing else was caught they removed the trap and called it done.

 + -1 moreAdvanced Wildlife was very responsive and was able to send someone out within a few hours. The rep arrived on-time. After looking for the bat he was unable to locate it. He also inspected the outside of the house and provide a report as well as a quote to seal off the open areas to avoid future problems. Even though he was unable to locate the bat, I still felt they were professional and would call them again if needed.
Description of Work: I woke up to find a bat in my bedroom. After searching for it, I was unable to locate it. I called Advanced Wildlife to search for it and remove it if they found it.

Description of Work: We first contacted Advanced Wildlife Control because we had field mice and the occassional chipmunk frequenting our basement. They were thorough in explaining the procedure they would take in order to identify the cause & find a remedy for our problem and provided a quote over the phone.They responded quickly with a service call, and showed up on time They inspected the entire perimeter of the property and the basement for obvious access points and sealed / obstructed any suspected problem areas. They installed discreetly disguised "food" trays outside and inside to further mitigate the problem & monitor critter "traffic." This visit was followed up by another service call to check "food" trays & confirm the problem was under control. We used them again in May because a red squirrel had gained access to our air ducts via an open area between the ceiling & wall of our garage. They came out that very day, sealed all but a small area of the open space with wire mesh and installed a trap to capture the squirrel when it atempted to come out from the house. The squirrel was caught, the remaining space was sealed and we haven't had any problems since.
