They responded quickly for an estimate. The work was not an easy installation because of the age of the house, and they had never worked with this device before. It was recommended as part of a Focus on Energy program to give enough air flow to the house after insulation, etc. They did a great job. It works as it should. They were very professional and were done quickly after the estimate. The electrical inspector from the village of Whitefish Bay was very familiar with the company and confirmed their excellent work. The electrical permit was an added expense, but we were told about that.

Diedrich workers showed up exactly when they said they would (3 times). Work was done quickly, just as described and for exactly the amount estimated. They were particularly helpful in explaining the process for installing and wiring the hood.

My initial call to Diedrich Electric was for finding out why my overhead fan and dining room lights as well as one outlet were no longer functioning. The electrician quickly isolated that problem as being a short in my kitchen overhead. That kitchen light fixture was working but evidently the wiring was in series. There was a broken wire that shorted out the other fixtures. At my request the electrician removed my old dining room fixture and proceeded to install a fan bracket with no damage to the plastered ceiling while I dashed out and purchased a fan. He then installed the fan. All the work was done in a very competent and professional manner. The electrician was very cordial. I won't hesitate to call them again for further work. He arrived at precisely the promised time. I am very pleased.

I called Diedrich one day, and they scheduled me about 2 weeks out. The very next day, they called me and said they had an opening, and 15 minutes later, were at my door. After half an hour rummaging around my attic, they were done, and everything works great.

Bill came out and did a detailed estimate covering several possible projects. We opted for two of the easier ones now with the rest to follow in future. Greg arrived to do the work within 15 minutes of stated time. He worked neatly, quickly and understood the quirks of older houses. The whole thing took about an hour and a half. Hourly rate is $5 more than that posted on Angie's list and they round up to the next hour for a partial hour worked. These projects were billed on a time/materials basis as we had agreed.

It went very well. Wayne was great to work with and fit into the wacky household happenings (dogs, cats, kids) really well. The work was performed as promised and completed within one week.

The serviceman who came out was very competent. He was polite. And he did everything we asked him to do, even coming up with some creative solutions along the way. To top it all off, the price was significantly lower than other estimates. I would use them again.

Very good experience. Mr. Diedrich and Son are very well established electricians in the Milwaukee North Shore area. I have used them on electrical jobs for many years and hope to continue doing so.

I was called back promptly by the polite company representative after she discussed my job description with one or more of her electricians. I was told that my job was ''not economically feasible'' becasue an electrician would have to travel too far for too small of a job. Of note, another electrician gave an estimate of $795 for this same job and the distance between Diedrich Electric in Shorewood and my home in Cedarburg is 21 miles by Mapquest. I think Angie's List members should know that this company seems only willing to serve a very small service area, even for what I would consider a medium sized job (based on my previous price estimate). I guess business must be very good for this company for them to so readily turn down job offers.

The electrician was professional, on time and did a nice job.

We have used Diedrich Electric several times. The electrician explained several options for the outdoor wiring. This time, as always, the work was done well.

Very Positive. They were willing to use the conduit run that I installed before their arrival, even discussing the sizing with me over the phone. For the installation, Billy the technician was thorough and professional and allowed me to observe his work. There was a slight billing mistake, but it was cheerfully rectified.

I talked with Billy and got a rough estimate over the phone. They were flexible and recommended a time and materials billing rather than a flat fee for the project. They were able to start within a few days and got the work done on schedule. They arrived when promised. I was given the electrician's cell number and was able to call with follow up questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician in Milwaukee.

ALL WORK WAS DONE THROUGH PHONE CONVERSATIONS. WAS PERFORMED ON SHORT NOTICE ON TIME FOR OUTDOOR PARTY. THE GUY WAS HONEST AND FLEXIBLE.

AFTER I CALLED TO REQUEST SERVICE I DID NOT RECEIVE A RETURN CALL UNTIL THE ELECTRICIAN WAS ON HIS WAY. HE APOLOGIZED FOR THE OMISSION. HE WAS PLEASANT AND EFFICIENT AND CLEANED UP WHEN HE WAS FINISHED.

THE ELECTRICIAN CALLED AND CAME OVER AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS FULLY, GIVING VARIOUS POSSIBILITIES FOR OPTIONS ON THE CURRENT JOB AND AN UNRELATED JOB [YET TO BE SCHEDULED].

FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND GOOD WORKER. SOMETIMES THEY GET BUSY AND YOU DON'T SEE THEM FOR A WHILE.

OVERALL WE WERE PLEASED WITH DIEDRICH'S WORK.

I CALLED AND I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE AND SHE DIDN'T KNOW IF THEY COULD GET TO OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND I ASKED IF THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY NEIGHBORHOOD. SHE SAID NO, THEY JUST NORMALLY WORK IN THE NORTH SHORE AREA. THE NORTH SHORE AREA IS AN ELITIST AREA, BUT NO FARTHER FROM WHERE THEY ARE THAN I AM. SHE SAID SHE WAS GOING TO CHECK BUT THAT'S WHAT SHE THOUGHT COULD BE A PROBLEM. A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER SHE CALLED BACK AND SAID THEY WERE TOO BUSY TO COME AND THAT THEY DON'T WORK IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD.

CAME RIGHT AWAY, PRICE WAS LOWER THAN ACTUAL ESTIMATE,

REALLY GREAT FOR THE NORTHSHORE DWELLERS - THEY KNOW ALL THE RULES FOR PULLING PERMITS (MY PRICE INCLUDED THE $40 PERMIT) WITH THE VARIOUS VILLAGES AND ARE BASED IN SHOREWOOD. VERY REASONABLE PRICE. THEY QUOTED ME THEY WOULD ARRIVE BETWEEN 9AM-10AM. I INITIALLY MISUNDERSTOOD AND EXPECTED THEM AT 9AM -AND AT 9:15AM I CALLED THEM. WITHIN 5 MINUTES THEY RETURNED MY CALL WITH A POLITE EXPLANATION. ELECTRICIAN WAS HERE BY 9.30AM - SPENT OVER 2 HOURS AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. WILL DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN!
