Description of Work: The technician was prompt, professional, and thorough. I've had our chimney cleaned annually by a different firm that I elected not to use this year after having problems with them. The Ablaze service was superior and showed greater care. The differences with Ablaze were: 1. putting tarps down across the carpet to minimize dirt. 2. thorough inspection of the flue, not just cleaning. 3. more thorough cleaning of the fireplace including glass. Also provided evaluation and ideas regarding dryer venting situation. The price is higher than I had paid the previous firm but I feel more assured of quality. The only downgrade on price was for not offering currently available specials or Angie's list coupons that were available, that I did not notice until after the fact. They knew I was coming based on an Angie's list evaluation so offering that would have been nice.

Description of Work: Installed two caps for the top of my chimney. Also removed couple layers of brick due to moss and small trees growing on the bricks. And replace the cracked flute and poured new concrete and sealed everything.
