They were the successful bidder for the project so they offered one of the lowest prices and could meet our service requirements. We have had no insulation related issues (almost 10 years now) and they got the work done on schedule with little or no logistical or scheduling issues. We would certainly call them for future work bids or serve as a reference.
Description of Work: They provided insulation services for new construction. No recollection of the amount so I guessed.

Rather than type it again, content of a letter I sent is below. I was holding off doing a review until I received a response from Alpine, but it has been four and a half months with no response. 06/01/2012 Alpine Insulation & Drywall 1941 Ashland Avenue, Sheboygan, Wisconsin 53081 To Whom It May Concern, Enclosed you will find payment for invoice 4040985R and invoice 8009537R totaling $2,925.00, along with photos taken during the job. Let me start by saying that now that the insulation and drywall project is complete, I am very pleased with the results. What I am not pleased with is the difficult process to get here. There was a lack of communication as to when I could expect crews to show up. I took a day of vacation to be at home for the insulation crew, only to find out afterward that the insulation crew would be delayed until the next day. The drywall for my kitchen was also delivered unexpectedly. Had I not been home, the project would have been delayed yet another day waiting for the delivery. There was also no indication as to when I could expect the drywall crew or the plastering crew. The insulating crew was very prompt the next day and completed the job quickly and cleanly. However, while backing the work truck into my driveway, the driver missed the driveway and left six inch deep ruts in the grass. Also, the insulation crew happened to still be there, finishing up in the truck, when the drywall was unexpectedly delivered. A member of your crew informed me that the drywall truck was parked on the street, but did nothing to help. I had to assist the delivery driver, in the rain, to unload and stack the fourteen sheets of drywall for my own project. The hanging of the drywall was completed in a timely manner. My house, unfortunately, was left looking like a pig sty. Partial sheets of drywall, cutouts, and paper were left lying all over my kitchen. The circular pile shown in one picture is what my wife swept up just to be able to walk through the room and not track dust all over the house. This may have been a job site to your crew, but this is my house! We are living here during the remodel. This is an unacceptable way to leave a clients house. I also had to ?find? an outlet that was completely covered over with drywall. This was not discovered until after the wall had been painted, causing me to have to patch the wall and repaint the entire wall to match the color. My hope in hiring Alpine was to make things easier on myself by only having to coordinate with one contractor instead of a separate insulation and drywall contractor. Unfortunately this has proven not to be true. The lack of communication and lack of concern for the homeowner, has left a very negative impact on me.

The attic they did fine but the walls they didn't know what they were doing. They drilled a bunch of holes in my drywall and used too much pressure and almost blew my walls out. They were very nice but I don't think they were trained very properly in blowing insulation into the walls. I wasn't happy with all the holes, they just drilled where ever they wanted to. As far as blowing the insulation into housing they were good but into the walls I don't think they were very good.
Description of Work: They insulated my attic and they insulated my walls in the garage.

They showed up on time for the job, They did the work in a quality fashion and did a great job cleaning up. You can not even tell there was a huge hole in the ceiling. They did the entire job in only 2 hours.
Description of Work: We had a huge hole in our ceiling from falling through the attic. They repaired the drywall and applied the textured ceiling sand to match existing ceiling.

They did a phenomenal job! This job had many complex angles with multiple roof lines and ceiling levels. Problem with the chimney was handled perfectly. Crew was able to merge old plastered stairway ceiling with the new work seamlessly. This was a very dirty and messy job, and they did the best I could have hoped for to minimize the mess in the rest of the house. I would highly recommend this company. It is very hard to find a drywall company, but it seems the search paid off.
Description of Work: They hung and mudded drywall and greenboard in a gut/remodel of 2nd floor of bungalow. This included 2 bedrooms, a large bathroom, hallway and 5 large closets. The first crew hung approximately 100+ sheets in 1.75 days. The 2nd crew cleaned, and the 3rd crew mudded and sanded in about 3.5 non-consecutive days. Finally, it took 1 crew to do final cleanup.
