I would recommend Kris Johnson for any of your home repair and renewal needs. He has been very approachable and provided good thoughts and ideas when asked. He is not the least expensive but the quality justifies the differences in price.

Everything went extremely well. Kris made suggestions which we incorporated to save time and therefore keep the cost estimate as low as possible. I was very pleased to find the staff at Menard's think of Kris as a top contractor (which I now also think he is) . Because I had a contractor, there were no delivery charges for the materials kit, so I suggest others work with a contractor if possible. From my basic siting of the garage, Kris set up the basics of the grade changes and Brian Niemi verified the lines and did excavation, grading, and fill for the concrete work. In 3 days the concrete was completed, including our names, the date, and our dog's paw prints. Two weeks later, after allowing the concrete to cure, Kris and his crew of Leroy and Chris, started construction. In 3 days, Johnson Construction was done and paid. I admit it took me a lot longer to finish the project by doing the wiring and installing the siding! Kris is a rather quiet guy; Leroy is more outgoing, and Chris is REALLY quiet! But they are really great - fast, efficient, and very skilled. I give Johnson Construction an absolute top rating. They far exceed my expectations and l unequivocally recommend them!

The siding, fascia, and soffit had been deteriorating for a number of years. Kris Johnson and others were contacted to give estimates. Kris gave us his estimate and scheduled the job. The job actually took longer than he had anticipated due to more rotten wood than what had been visible. He did not use all the vents he had for our job, and ended up giving us credit for the unused vents.
