+ -1 moreDan was very professional and made time in his busy schedule to take care of my needs which was deeply appreciated. Friendly and responded immediately to my initial phone call. Recommend Dan without question.
Description of Work: An exterior window that was made was made wrong and would not fit. Dan fixed it so it would fit properly and also primed raw edges. Also had an open bathroom vent. Dan put a vent cap and had to cut to fit. Also placed wire mesh on attic vents so bees would not enter.

+ -1 moreCalled Dan @ 8:00 Friday morning, he rearranged his schedule and was able to get to the house @ 10:30. He identified the issue, took the necessary temporary steps immediately, came back @ 10:00 Saturday to fix the problem. Problem completely fixed by 11:00, went above and beyond to clean the work area, prevent future problems. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional.
Description of Work: Noticed a leak from the bathroom dripping into my basement.

+ 0 moreIt was like we were old time friends when he entered my home. He even visited with my birds and took a picture of one of them. The work he did for me was impeccable, and even redid the mirror placement when I saw it was a little too high. There was not a single sign of any debris left at the sights at which he worked. He cleaned everything up. You would never have known anything was done in any of the areas he worked. Handy Man Dan should be listed as DANDY Man Dan. He is definitely MORE then a FIVE STAR Provider! I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: Dan, I soon found out, lives, pretty much in my neighborhood, and did not know it when I hired him. He is the kindest, friendliest, and most congenial, handyman I have ever come across. He put up a medicine chest, two grab bars in the tub, hung a huge mirror in my foyer, fixed a towel bar, tightened the toilet seat covers, assembled a bookcase, and came to pick up my many cardboard boxes, to burn in his fire pit the next day.

+ 1 moret called him and made an appointment for him to come over to assess what I needed done. He was pleasant. Appeared to know what and how to do the work. I had needed 2 fence gate doors fixed cause it wasn't closing properly and than some rotted wood around a window of the garage that needed replacing. He said he would get back to me with an estimated cost and Never did. Never called or sent an estimate. Annoying when people don't follow up. I would of been fine if he said he was too busy and couldn't do it

+ 2 moreHe left us a very nice note after fixing the water heater that he was sorry for our loss. Even with the new part installed and labor, he still did not charge us at all for services!
Description of Work: Back in January my wide passed away, and we were having water heater issues. With the funeral going on, we expected to have about 15 people in our house with no hot water. I contacted Handy Man Dan and he came in about 15 minutes. I gave him a signed blank check, and left him at my home to replace the water heater. He fixed the hot water for us and he put a new part in our water heater. Back in march he also did work on our garage, with installation of Sheetrock and also insulation. We are going to have kitchen and bathroom work done next.

+ 3 moreHe is great. You can give Dan your house key with a blank check and walk away. The quality of the work is excellent. He went above and beyond and hung up pictures as I have a broken back right now. This was in a place over a staircase that was very tough to get to. He went to the store to get a switch plate for us as we did not have the right one. The price was more than fair for the work. He was at our home the entire day and worked very hard.
Description of Work: He installed a faucet. He switched out a light fixture for us. The fixtures were in the bathroom and he replaced those. He picked up a storm door and installed that as well.
