Mr Mover Inc

I first contacted Mr. Mover approximately 6 weeks prior to my move date. I was provided with a form via email to complete and email back which was basically an inventory of what I would like moved. I received my estimate within 24 hours and including the 10% discount for Angie's List members, the quote was well within my expectations. I called their office after reviewing the quote to secure the date I wanted. I did call back a couple of weeks later to add a few items that I had forgotten and I was quickly given an updated quote, which was still quite reasonable. Once I scheduled my move, Mr. Mover emailed me a final copy of my quote (which, barring any deviations from my list of items, was guaranteed) along with what to expect and what is expected of me, which all was very standard (such as only clothing can be left in dresser drawers, all boxes must have covers and be securely closed, etc.). I had to pay a deposit of 20%, which I mailed off right away. I called two business days before my scheduled move to get the time slot I was scheduled for; I was scheduled as the first move of the day and was told to expect the crew between 8am and 8:30am. The truck arrived at 8:30am and was staffed with five young men. They were all very polite and friendly and, after giving them a short overview of the rooms and what was going, they all got right to work. They placed moving blankets on the floor to protect the carpeting, wrapped all the dressers and other large wooden furniture in moving blankets and wrapped my living room furniture (a large microfiber sectional and ottoman) in plastic. I had a total of 40 boxes (mostly between 18" - 24" square), the large sectional sofa and ottoman, a queen sized mattress, foundation, frame and headboard, four dressers, a chest of drawers, an end table, a small desk, a larger desk with attached hutch, three desk chairs, two wall shelves (36" and 48"), two wall mirrors approximately 16" x 24" each, a 42" LCD TV with TV stand, a 24" LED TV, a computer with 19" LED monitor, two small bookcases, one large bookcase (approx. 78"Hx32"Wx14"D), two small file cabinets, a trash bin and a gas grill. All of this was on the truck within 30 minutes - I was amazed - and they didn't even use hand trucks! I arrived at the new house about 10 - 15 minutes ahead of them. Once they arrived, I gave a quick tour, indicating that the bedroom doors were marked with signs that corresponded to what was written on the boxes. I got out of their way and, after a bit of directing, everything was unloaded in 30 minutes. I was given the option of a final "inspection" walk-through but I passed on that, I had been watching as they both loaded and unloaded my belongings and there appeared to be no incidences (upon later inspection, there was absolutely no damage to anything, everything was moved and in it's place). Four out of the five guys went out to the truck while the other brought over the tally sheet with the results. I had estimated high with 75 boxes and ended up not moving a twin bed and two dressers I originally planned on including. The final total came in almost $300 under the estimate. I wrote out a check and thanked him for a job very well done. A minute or two after he left, he and one of the other guys came back to the door and said that they had overheard me saying that I had wanted the large bookcase in my utility closet but had told them to just put it in the living room. I said that I did have plans to put it in the utility closet however it was going to be a tight fit and I wasn't sure how I was going to get it in there without moving the washing machine, which was in front of the sliding door. They offered to give it a try and, a couple minutes later, it was in the closet with no trouble at all; they just lifted it right up over the washer. All in all, I was extremely pleased with entire process and feel that I got a spectacular value. I would use them again (of course I have no immediate plans to move again - ever) and I highly recommend them to anyone needing to hire a moving company.

They did an amazing job! They showed up right on time, took a tour and got to work. They disassembled the crib, protected all the furniture and worked very quickly. After they were done, they went through the home with me to make sure nothing was missed. Then they drove to our storage unit and packed it up. They went straight over to the new place without even taking a break! They unloaded everything to three levels (basement, main floor, second floor) and moved things around for us, as we weren't exactly sure where we wanted some things. I highly recommend Mr. Mover (especially Luke and Jason) and will definitely use them again.

The two men showed up on time, assessed the pieces of furniture and informed me that I had over counted on their easy to use online estimating form. They lowered the total cost on the spot. The 2 men were very courteous, professional and very hard workers. Furniture pieces were wrapped and there was absolutely no damage or mishaps. These two guys worked extremely hard. They worked fast and didn't once take a break, even for water. Navigated their fifth wheel trailer with ease, handled the basement stairs with no problem, did not complain about the second stop at the storage unit, and handled the winding corners in our new house perfectly. I have used other movers in the past and have never had such a good experience as I did with this company.

Jake and Matt arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently and were very polite and respectful.

Had 5 man crew unload a moving truck. 2 were professional, full time movers, and 3 were "summer help". I had no issue paying for the professional movers however too exception to paying the same price for the summer help as they were inefficient, slow, and unsure of what & how to do it. It got so bad that the 2 professional movers had to speak with the summer help. Had I known I was getting the summer help, I would not have agreed to it. Felt like I overpaid by at least $150-$200 due to slow speed of the inefficient workers.

These guys were AWESOME. Efficient. Professional. Friendly. Punctual. Competitive price. Could not have asked for more. I give them an A+.

From the onset, Mr. Mover was a quality business. We were able to detail via on online tool our belongings and able to get an instant estimate, relative to their review. It was a great first touch and I was contacted by the office via email and phone call. They did a great job in managing my request and information. From there, we were provided options and dates based on our schedule. It was a smooth process as far as getting the date on the books. We provided our deposit and locked in a specific time about 3 days before the actual move. The movers were quick, friendly and efficient. They moved several heavy items and were friendly in doing so. They took great care of our assets and made sure each item was delivered to the right room upon moving all the items to the new location. They even maneuvered down a smaller road and keep the neighbors happy!

The men arrived on time and were very efficient. When faced with an item that was difficult to navigate in the space, they hung in there and were able to complete the task.

I had never used a moving company before and found Mr Mover through Angies List. I contacted them and Judy was very helpful in walking me through filling out an inventory list which helped them with their quote. I was on a time crunch and needed my items moved into a POD which was in the driveway. After getting the quote I contacted them the same day to set up the move. They arrived promptly on moving day(Tuesday) with 3 guys. After a quick walk around the house to show what was going and what wasn't, the guys got right to work. they wrapped all couches with wrap to protect them which was a nice suprise. The guys packed the POD from top to bottom and even used my provided blankets as protection from scratches. They filled a 16'x8'x8' POD in less than 3 hours and I never heard one thing hit a wall, ground, or doorway while doing so. The only bad news was when the POD was filled with no room to spare and I still had a few items in the house and a full garage yet. This was of course my fault. I ordered a 2nd POD to be delivered the next day(Wednesday) then contacted Judy again. She knew of my time crunch, as Friday was my last day in the house, and was able to get the guys back over Friday morning to finish the move. Again they came on time and had the rest packed up in 2 hours. The guys overall did a great job and I would highly reccommend Mr Mover to anyone that was moving.

We hired Mr. Mover to pack up our 2 bedroom condo and move to another condo within downtown Milwaukee. They packed us up on a Thursday and moved us on a Saturday. The quoted price was very reasonable compared to other companies, and they honored that quote without adding charges at the end. On packing day, 3 young men arrived on time and within the space of 3-4 hours packed up the whole place. On moving day, a team of 5 men arrived and completed the move within 4 hours. Mr. Mover is the best moving company we have ever used. Nothing was broken or chipped during the packing or moving process, a minor miracle! The young men were all polite and friendly. Since it was a snowy moving day and we did not want wet snow and salt tracked onto our new carpet, we asked to have one team bring the items to the front door and another team to move the items from the front door into the individual rooms. They were very gracious in complying with this request. There were a few minor issues. When packing, shoes were packed on top of clean clothes in the same boxes and wasp poison from the storage closet was packed in the same box as food items. Both for the packing and moving, I never received the promised phone call 2 days prior and I had to contact them the afternoon before to find out the exact arrival times. Overall, though, we were very happy with Mr. Mover and would use them again.

The company showed up on time, took care with floor coverings, covered furniture and handled the pieces in a professional manner. The two men took care of business in an expeditious manner.

The team was prompt, coming well within their timeline of "between 8:30 and 10:00" and were very efficient. Our new house is an older home, and the stairway to the second floor has a landing with a tight turn. All of our furniture was moved up without a scratch. The same is true for the washer/dryer moved around tight corners to the basement. The three man team were friendly, professional, and efficient.

They were to come between 8 and 830. We had a winter storm watch in effect. They were here at 815! 3 very nice very efficient guys came to move us. They had us packed up in about 1.5 hours! They had quoted us by email based on what we indicated we had. We had a few changes when they arrived but one of them said it pretty much evened out and would be close to what our estimate was. Nothing was damaged. They were careful with the doors and the furniture. The final bill was close to what our estimate was so no surprised which we were very pleased about. We would use them again no question and HIGHLY recommend them!

They were prompt, courteous and professional throughout. There was a slight issue with minor damage to a china cabinet, but when I contacted them about it, they were very concerned. They responded promptly and professionally to that issue. I think that a company should be judged, not only by how well they do the work, but also by how well they respond to problems, and they handled this one very well. Despite the issue, I would hire them again and recommend them.

Nick was very helpful in the planning process and was a pleasure to work with. On the day of the move they sent 2 trucks and about 7 guys to do the job. The entire crew walked through the house with us to make sure they knew what to take and sort out any special instructions. At this time they tallied up all of the furniture and counted all of the boxes, etc. Then at the new home we walked through again with the whole crew to lay out where each piece of furniture should go (this was their idea not mine!). At the end we did one final walk through with the crew man in charge to make sure we were happy with where everything was placed, etc. Everything was handled professionally, nothing was broken, etc.

We used Mr. Mover to move our packed things from Milwaukee to Green Bay. Their pricing was by far the most competitive of any company we called. We liked that they could do the move in one day, and Nick had no problem adjusting our quote to add some things to the moving list. The company called the day before to verify the time of the move and the three guys who did the move showed up on time. They were able to get the truck packed up faster than expected and made it to Green Bay in a reasonable amount of time. The unpacking went pretty smoothly too. The guys were friendly and courteous. We were very pleased with our experience and would be delighted to use Mr. Mover again!

They were very attentive and they really asked a lot about where things should be and didn’t just throw stuff anywhere. Overall, I rate them highly. I would use them again in the future.

The guys showed up on time and got everything done in a professional and timely matter. They did lose the key to my pinball machine which means I can't use it. I do understand how this could have easily happened on their end and should have secured the key myself. It was close to 100 degrees that day.

I was looking for a moving company on short notice to move my mother-in-law to a senior apartment in West Bend. I used Angie's list as a guide and saw that Mr.Mover was highly rated. I called and was VERY happy that they were able to fit us in with only a few days notice, even at the busy "end of the month" time period. The two young men that moved her things were very considerate, efficient and professional. Mr. Mover obviously does a great job in hiring and training. My husband, mother-in-law and myself were all very impressed by the speed AND care of these young men. We would definitely recommend Mr. Mover to anyone looking for a moving company.

They were just very prompt and courteous. They were very professional. They took extra care with the furniture.

From the moment I called for a quote, to the completed job- I can not express enough the positive efforts and attitudes of Mr. Mover. I called for an estimate and signed for services on short notice about two days prior, with a move date of March 17th (St. Patty's Day). With the short notice and day of move- we really didn't expect too much in regards to the job, however we really wanted to have the assistance with our move. I did however have a good sense that things would be okay, as we used Angie's List for reviews and after speaking with Nick at Mr. Mover, his professionalism and positive attitude gave me hope. Our move was scheduled for 8am. The crew arrived promptly a few minutes ahead of schedule, were attentive, in good appearance, cordial, and made it a point to explain to us that they wanted our move to go smooth and make it a non-stress event for us. They delivered on every aspect. The two man crew worked in harmony, and even knowing myself that moving furniture is no easy task, they took to the job with ease and care. The move-in went just as smooth and the crew made certain to appease us as to where we wanted items placed an setup. I could easily go on and on about how smooth this went and how relieved we felt afterwards- however I will close with a few final words: That there is no doubt in my mind that I would recommend Mr. Mover to anyone. From start to finish... they exceeded expectations far and above what were ever expected. I like that. And in todays day and age, it is a pleasure to know that their are companies whom care about doing their best. Mr. Mover is one of them. A+ from us.
