+ -1 moreI had called the previous evening for next day service to my septic system, was routed to an emergency person and was told that and quot;the bossand quot; would call me back early the next morning to arrange service. The call never came so I made other arrangements. The company's service person, however, showed up at my home in the afternoon after I had the repair accomplished by another provider. He told me that he reminded the boss in the morning to call me and assumed the call had been made. He was a really decent guy and I felt bad that he had to make the trip without being able to do the work.

home inspection
+ -1 moreArnold's was misleading when I made the appointment to have an inspection done for my home sale. I was told the proper inspection would take place that would satisfy the realty contract requirement for home sale. I then learned after they performed their general inspection that they do not offer a service for a septic inspection for home sale. Why would I contract with a company that can't satisfy the requirement that I need? Further, they are misleading their consumers by publishing on their website and in yellow page ads that they perform "System Inspections for Home Refinancing or Sale." I have instructed Arnold's I will not pay their bill as they did not perform the service for which I had asked for. When I explained this situation on the phone to the Arnold's representative she instructed me on 2-19-07 that they will pursue "other means of collection" and then hung up the phone on me. I felt this was very unprofessional on the part of this Arnold's employee.
Description of Work: Arnold's Environmental was called so that I could have a septic inspection on my property and have this report submitted for the sale of my home as this was part of the home sale contract requirement. I was told by Arnold's that Arnold's performs this work and they would be able to do this inspection with the proper paperwok within a few days. Because they told me it would meet the requirements I needed I scheduled the septic inspection. After their inspection was performed, Arnold's then informed me that the type of inspection they do are just general inspections, not inspections valid for home sale, thus their service was useless to me and I then had to hire a different company to do a proper inspection and submit the proper paperwork according to the terms of my home sale. I also informed them that I felt they completely mislead me and they have false advertising on their yellow page ads and website which states they perform "System Inspections for Home Refinancing or Sale".
