After the work was completed and seeing first hand the results I asked the tech to take a look at my windshield repair done by Glass Express in River Falls, WI. The tech confirmed that the repair done by Glass Express was done completely wrong and now the only fix is to replace the windshield.

Description of Work: Replaced the windshield in my car, but they did not seal the window properly so the window leaked over a long weekend with lots of rain. Once discovered they promptly found and fixed the issue. The window has not leaked since.

+ -1 moreI had a windshield chip the size of a dime repaired. I've had this type of work done several times over the years so I know what to expect. The employee didn't do the job correctly the first time and the manager had to redo the job by drilling another hole to fix the chip. There were several things I observed from my experience with Glass Express. 1. The employee wasn't properly trained to do the repair. 2. The equipment used to fix the chip was entry level compared to other professionals. 3. The manager lacked the interpersonal skills when dealing with an issue. His employee messed up and because I noticed the manager was upset at me. 4. Windshield chip repair isn't one of their specialties.

+ -1 moreTHE COMPANY WAS COURTEOUS, AND CONSCIENTIOUS DURING OUR SERVICE PERIOD. THE EMPLOYEE WHO REPLACED OUR GLASS WAS THOROUGH AND DID A GREAT JOB IN MEETING OUR EXPECTATIONS WHICH WE COMMUNICATED PRIOR TO THE WINDOW BEING REPLACED.
Description of Work: THEY REPLACED A BROKEN WINDOW IN THE LOWER LEVEL OF OUR HOME.
