Al Steinmetz assessed my dismal front lawn and patiently listened to me describe the fiasco I had dealt with previously when I had hired CCL, Inc. to provide me with a lawn from seed. In 2013, Al and his crew came in and tore off the top of the existing lawn area and installed sod because I wanted no more waiting on having a nice lawn. The crew worked fast and efficiently and it was gorgeous when it was done. I was instructed on how to care for it and encouraged to call with any questions. Any time I called Al to discuss my concerns with weeds or anything else related to the care of the lawn, he was immediately and professionally responsive. He charged me fairly for the project and stayed in contact to check on the lawn without me having to chase him down. He was patient and pleasant and followed through with his promises to ensure that I was a satisfied customer. I retained Steinmetz Landscaping to continue with caring for my lawn (as far as fertilizing, liming, etc.) from the original sod job through this past year. Al recommended that I take over the care myself now, as it would save me money and because the lawn is now well-established. He offered to give me a schedule of care and maintenance so that I will continue to have a beautiful lawn. I highly recommend Al's company and praise his honesty, integrity and talents.
