Service call was fine. Have used this company at another property for years, always paid on-site. This time, we were told "we will bill you." Never got billed and frankly, forgot about it since we usually paid on site. Twenty months later, we got sued. No courtesy call. Had been customers for years. They likely sent the bills to our other property that had no working mailing address. Pick up the phone and call! We paid the summons immediately, plus late fees. And then receive ANOTHER bill in the mail for the court filing fee because their (same) secretary forgot to include that in the original charges. Get a new (knowledgable, organized) secretary, folks.

-Paid $245 for a sewer lateral inspection on a home I am purchasing. -H&H tech inspects and says pipe is "video inspected 4 inch pipe from cleanout in basement to about 45 ft. pipe is not in good shape. believe pipe is orangeberg and pipe is collapsing in on itself could not get past 45 ft and also broke camera" -Seller has inspection done by different company. X-Rooter inspects. Pipe is clay tile and in serviceable condition. No collapse. -H&H tech returns. Inspects again, admits his mistake. "Pipe is clay tile. It does have sediment on bottom of the pipe, it has a gritty feel to it. Could only get camera 45 feet because clay tile is offset enough that camera can't jump up over it." -H&H then bills me ANOTHER $245.00 for coming back. -The fact is, a complete inspection hasn't even been done once. X-Rooter (another sewer lateral inspection company) had no problems identifying the pipe type and getting to the street. H&H could not do either of these things and yet has billed me twice for doing essentially nothing. -I demanded the second bill be voided and received no response.

Not good. service. I was disappointed that after 2 calls and giving the person my cell number so I could be reached that I didn't get a call until a week later when I was leaving and that was to tell me he was just too busy.I don't see the rating on Angie's list being that good as the service I saw was not professional in any manner.

MMy old cement septic tank collapsed and caused a big sink hole in my yard. H&H came out the next day and checked it out. In three days the job was finished with only one day when we couln't use it. They were extremely careful of the yard and did minimal damage. They even shored up my two story deck to avoid any subsidence problems since they had to dig within a foot or so of the footings. They answered all my questios without making me feel stupid for asking. I have used them since and will do so again for routine work.

I called them July 3 the day before the 4th of July and told them my holding tank was full and could they help? The lady who answered the phone asked if I could wait til the day after the 4th. I said ok. Their guy showed up July 5th in the morning. I got the bill in the mail at my regular residence a few days later for $125. The previous year it was $90. So I called the business and asked why the big increase since in the prior 10 yrs it had only gone up $5-10 per year. She said because I was seasonal. I had never been charged a seasonal rate in the past so what makes this year different? I have simply called them when my tank was full ..period. Now things are different?? I grudgingly paid the bill.I called her back and stated I did not think that this charge was fair. and if they did change their policy they should notify their customers. It seems to me they more or less charge what ever they want when they want. I have relayed my feelings to the business and I have also put a complaint into the BBB. In my book they took me for at least $30. and I want my money back. That is the difference to what I should be charged compared to similar companies in the area. I am very disappointed in this business. I had been a very loyal customer.
