It was a complete nightmare!! They started drilling and was shooting all the sand, rocks and water AT our house. They created a burm of sand in front of our door into the house. My husband asked them to make a path that when they hit water it could flow AWAY from our house. Instead they did the opposite. The burm they created covered the entire width of our driveway and was about 4 ft high. When they hit water, the water/ sludge was shooting at the front of our house. There was no where for the water to drain so it started flooding IN the house. OMG, it was such a mess!!! It was seeping in from the front door, under the rock facia and into the house under the baseboards. We asked them from the beginning to put an elbow on the shoot and aim it away from the house. We were afraid they were going to break windows!!! They chose not to. My husband called the office in Randolph. He talked to the owners wife and told her what they were doing and how unprofessional they were. (He has done professional landscaping in the past and have worked with the public in a professional manner, so he knew what he was talking about). She went on to tell my husband, "don't you call my friends unprofessional." He explained to her what they were doing, what he asked them to do, as to not damage our house. She yelled at him and said if he called them unprofessional again she was going to hang up on him. He said that if she did, the next person she'd be talking to would be our lawyer. They sprayed so much sand and silt at our house even our 2nd story windows and all the tracks were covered in sand and mud. It was so much work to clean it all up. We were just happy they didn't break any windows. When they returned to take a water sample (we live more than 2 & 1/2 hrs from their office), they didn't call ahead. If I would have been home alone, I would not have answered the door. He had no identification and was filthy & looked like a vagrant. And when he came into the house his boots were muddy and left mud all over he floor. Now we've had furnace guys come into our house and put on blue booties to protect our floors/carpet. Now that's being professional! We would NEVER recommend Sam's Well Drilling!!!!!
