Excellent Job Overall - I highly recommend Katsma Plastering We heard about Steve when we asked another contractor about helping skim coat and patch cracks in the plaster walls where we had just removed the wallpaper. We had done some similar work in a room that had much fewer cracks and it took a lot of time an effort to get it right. The contractor didn't feel like he could do a good job but gave us the information for Katsma Plastering, especially knowing we did not have any interest in tearing out the plaster to replace with drywall. Steve Katsma came to see the site and take measurements. He was very personable. His quote was under what we had expected to pay and the recommendation from our other contractor made it an easy decision. Steve called the week before he wanted to start so we could move out of the rooms. He started on a Monday and the process took about 7 days. We were impressed with Steve's attention to detail, including making sure plastic runners where down everywhere he walked and worked to keep our floors in good shape. The plaster work came out looking gorgeous and we are very happy. We found a few rough spots that got missed on the initial work (small stuff) and Steve came out the same week to fix them at now additional charge. We will definitely use Katsma plastering again, when we get the rest of the wallpaper down.
