Description of Work: There were two jobs. 1. They tore off the old outdoor carpeting on the front and back porches and steps and replaced it with new outdoor carpeting. 2. Stairs leading down to studio. They sized and cut gold metal stairnoses [12 stairs total] and matched up the nail holes so all looks even. Installed them on top of existing stair rug which covered all worn spots. Looks so good friends think I had the whole thing redone . Friendly, efficient, careful workers. Measured twice, cut once. Arrived on time, completed work according to contract, finished on time. Quality materials. It's three years later [2012] and both jobs look like new.

+ -1 moreI ordered carpet for both my upstairs and downstairs, and cleared out my upstairs to have that carpet installed before the carpet downstairs. It turned out that the upstairs carpet was on backorder, but I didn't find that out until I had the entire upstairs cleared out. In a rush I cleared the downstairs so they could install the carpet downstairs. We rescheduled for the upstairs, but it wasn't finished in one day and I had to wait over a weekend for completion. All in all, the workmanship for the carpets and installation was very good as was my interaction with the owner of the company and the installers, but the communication between appointments was lacking and caused a good amount of inconvenience for me.
Description of Work: I bought carpet from them and had them install it.

+ -1 moreDelays in the manufacturing process delayed out installation about two weeks but, I was kept informed the entire time. I personally feel it was out of their control, so no need to get upset with them. The fact that they kept me informed of all of the delays was very useful.
Description of Work: After getting a bid from a competitor, one that I felt was too high, I went to R & B Carpeting. After reviewing their samples and finding a comparable color and quality carpeting that was actually lower in price, I went with them. They had to order it from the factory so, the installation date was out about three weeks. I was kept informed on a weekly basis of the progress of the manufacturing, which as it turns out was delayed. SO, our installation date was moved three times to accommodate the delays in manufacturing. Once the actual installation day arrived they did a very neat and professional job. We had a stairway and upstairs hallway done. They removed the old carpeting and installed the new carpeting. The meshing of seams with the four door frames was impeccable as was the way that they ?tailored? the carpet to each step, whereas our old carpet was installed in a ?waterfall? method. All told, I am very pleased with the job and will use them again in the future.
