Investment Painting Contractors

Len, Ed and Neil were prompt, efficient, courteous, and very professional. They cleaned up after themselves well (and were nice to talk to, too). Len estimated the work would take two days for a four man crew. They were down a man when it came time for the job, but they completed the extensive job almost entirely in two days, barely taking time for their own lunch. They could have finished the job in the time allotted by applying a second coat to the still-wet first coat on the trim, but it would have looked a bit off, so they made time to come back and do it right. It's obvious that they take pride in a job well done, and I will definitely use them again.

Len and his crew are courteous, professional and very thorough. I am very satisfied with the results.

Responsive, knowledgeable, professional. They did almost the complete interior, as well as tearing off wallpaper, and they were very experienced. Did the job quickly and neatly.

For such a large investment, this was a very good experience. Len is very cordial and friendly. His quote was the second lowest of three bids. I felt confident going with him. He had good suggestions and comments during our initial consultation. The project took two days for four guys to perform the work. They were all very friendly and did an excellent job. No complaints.

Len is an excellent person to deal with. We were very satisfied with the price and that they would be done with the job in just one day. Len and his crew of four arrived on time and went right to work. Drop cloths were laid down and the wood trim and railings were covered and/or taped where necessary. Prior to leaving the carpeting was vacuumed and the hardwood stairs were wiped down with a damp cloth. They did an excellent job and we are very pleased with their work. We have had many compliments on the job they did. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would certainly call them again. Thanks Len, Junior, Ed, Mike and Neal. (Thanks for the gift card).

Overall, we were extremely pleased with the work. In all areas these guys are a pleasure to work with, from the quote through the job. Everything we have read about them on this site is true. They are prompt, extremely clean and do a very nice job in very little time. I wouldn't hesitate to call them the next time we need work done.

We were thrilled with Len and his crew. He was very fast coming out to do an estimate, and then did the work the next day. They were professional, did a fine job, and vacuumed afterward in case their drop cloths left any dust behind. My only complaint is very minor - we did not get any leftover paint for touch ups but I realize there may have been none leftover.

Investment Painting prides itself on promptness, efficiency, client courtesy and sticking to the plan decided on by the homeowner and Len. Len and ''the guys'' (Junior, Ed, Neal & Mike) arrived on time and immediately set to work moving furniture to make room for their equipment. The job took one day (as promised) and before ''the guys'' left they cleaned up and left everything as they'd found it before they started. I'm very pleased with the work that was done and highly recommend Investment Painting. I know I will certainly use them again. A big surprise was a $30 gift card to several highly rated restaurants which I'll be using very soon! Thank you, Len!

The painters were prompt, courteous, professional, and efficient. They completed the job in one day, which was very important to me. Very nice to deal with.

Everyone was exceptionally friendly and professional. They worked fast but at the same time did a great job. They were here 3 days and always cleaned up after each day. I would definitely recommend!

Experience was good! They came on time, only stayed 2 days (which was their estimate). They were courteous and nice, and any time we called Len, he always answered the phone, none of this leaving messages and waiting for a return phone call. It was a real pleasure working with them!

THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND WERE GREAT TO DEAL WITH. THEY WERE VERY TIDY AND CLEANED UP WELL. THEY DID A GOOD JOB. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

LEN IS A NICE GUY AND IS RESPONSIVE. COLORS PICKED WERE FROM B. MOORE PAINTS BUT HE SUGGESTED SHERWIN-WILLIAMS TO SAVE MONEY. WE LEFT THE CREW IN OUR HOUSE WHILE AT WORK FOR 2 DAYS AND FELT COMFORTABLE SINCE LEN SUPERVISES THE WORK. THEIR KEY IS THAT THEY RESPOND QUICKLY AND GET IN AND OUT WITHOUT LEAVING A MESS AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO MOVE ANY FURNITURE. ONLY SUGGESTION TO CUSTOMERS IS TO BE SPECIFIC WITH LEN ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT DONE SINCE THERE WAS SLIGHT CONFUSION ABOUT THE WALLPAPER REMOVAL BUT THEY TOOK CARE OF IT. WE WOULD HAVE PREFERRED THAT THEY MATCH THE SAND FINISH IN MASTER BATHROOM WITH BEDROOM BUT CAN'T BLAME THEM SINCE, AGAIN, WE DIDN'T SPECIFY THAT. EDGES BETWEEN WALL AND CEILING WERE AT TIMES UNEVEN BUT MAYBE WE'RE JUST PICKY. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN BUT WOULD BE MORE SPECIFIC ABOUT WHAT I WANT DONE.

LEN RETURNED MY PHONE CALL PROMPTLY AND WAS ON TIME FOR THE ESTIMATE. I PLAN ON SELLING THE HOUSE AND THE ESTIMATE OF NEAR $3000.00 WAS MORE THAN I WANTED TO SPEND. HE COULD HAVE STARTED RIGHT AWAY THOUGH. I TOLD HIM THE ESTIMATE WAS MORE THAN I WANTED TO SPEND AND HE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO REFER ME TO HOMETEK. I HAD TRIED CALLING HOMETEK IN THE PAST TO NO AVAIL AND TRIED AGAIN. THEY FINALLY RESPONDED AFTER MY MENTIONING TO LEN THEY DON'T RETURN MY CALLS. I'M STILL WAITING FOR AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN ESTIMATE FROM THEM, THOUGH.

WOW! I'VE BEEN VERY LUCKY WITH ANGIE'S LIST AND THIS IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST RECOMMENDATIONS. LEN & CREW ARE ALL VERY HIGHLY RATED AND IT DEFINITELY SHOWS IN THEIR WORK. IT WAS NOT THE LEAST EXPENSIVE QUOTE THAT I RECEIVED, BUT THEY WERE WILLING TO WORK IN MY SHORT WINDOW AND I JUST LIKED LEN (HE'S A GREAT CHARACTER AND AS A NEW "MILWAUKEEN" HE GAVE ME SOME GREAT RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONS!). VERY THOROUGH CLEANUP. YOU WOULDN'T HAVE EVEN KNOWN THEY WERE THERE IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE AWESOME LOOKING WALLS. THE CREW WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND BY COMING BACK A 2ND DAY AND PUTTING AT LEAST 4 COATS OF PAINT ON 2 HUGE WALLS (OF COURSE I CHOSE RED FOR 2 OF THE MOST DIFFICULT WALLS). I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE COMPANY TO FRIENDS (AND IN FACT, I'VE ALREADY DONE SO). I WILL BE USING INVESTMENT PAINTING AGAIN FOR SOME ADDITIONAL PROJECTS ON MY HOME IN THE SPRING. NO NEED TO EVEN GET QUOTES FROM OTHER PAINTERS I KNOW WHO I'M CALLING. LEN & CREW. I HOPE YOU'RE READING THIS. THANKS!

THE OWNER AND A CREW OF THREE OTHERS ARRIVED ON TIME. THEY MOVED FURNITURE, AND LOOSE ITEMS AND COVERED THE FLOORS (WHICH DIDN'T NEED TO BE COVERED BECAUSE I TOLD THEM I WAS REPLACING THEM), COVERED FURNITURE, AND MASKED OFF WOODWORK. THEY PUT AN OIL BASED PRIMER ON EVERYTHING AND THEN WENT TO BREAKFAST WHILE THE PRIME COAT DRIED. THEN THEY PUT THE FINISH COAT ON EVERYTHING. THEY DID ALL THIS IN FIVE HOURS. THEY THEN SPENT AN HOUR CLEANING UP, PICKING UP THEIR TARPS AND PLASTIC, AND PUTTING ALL THE FURNITURE AND ITEMS BACK WHERE THEY CAME FROM. THE FINAL RESULT WAS FANTASTIC. YOU COULDN'T SEE WHERE THE CRACKS WHERE AND THE WHOLE JOB WAS PERFECT. THEY WERE METICULOUS AND PROFESSIONAL IN EVERYTHING THEY DID. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. AN EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT JOB.

WORK WAS DONE VERY WELL, AND THEY WERE ABLE TO FIT THE JOB INTO A VERY NARROW WINDOW TO ACCOMMODATE MY MOVE. THE PRICE WAS HIGHER THAN FIRST DISCUSSED, BUT I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE JOB AND WOULD HIRE AGAIN.

LEN WAS VERY RESPONSIVE. HE CALLED ME AS SOON AS HE GOT MY CALL FOR A QUOTE, WHICH IS RARE. HE DID THE ESTIMATE W/IN TWO DAYS AND ENDED UP PERFORMING THE WORK THE FOLLOWING WEEK SINCE SOMETHING OPENED UP IN HIS SCHEDULE. LEN, EDDIE, AND NEIL WERE CONSIDERATE, THOROUGH, NEAT, AND WERE EXCELLENT PAINTERS. OVERALL A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE ONLY THING THAT I GAVE THEM LESS THAN AN ''A'' FOR WAS PRICE. I HAD TWO OTHER QUOTES AND BOTH WERE LOWER. I HIRED LEN, HOWEVER, BECAUSE OF HIS RESPONSIVENESS AND PROFESSIONALISM. TOO BAD THE OTHER CONTRACTORS DON'T KNOW HOW FAR THOSE TWO THINGS GO.

LEN AND HIS GUYS WERE GREAT, TOP-NOTCH. SERVICE, RESPONSE, QUALITY OF THEIR WORK, VALUE- ALL PLEASANT SURPRISES. WE HIRED LEN DURING HIS BUSY PERIOD, AND HE WAS STILL ABLE TO WORK AROUND OUR SCHEDULE AND OTHER CONTRACTORS. FLEXIBLE, PLEASANT, AND ABOVE ALL, SKILLED. WE WOULD WORK WITH HIM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT, AND WOULD BE DISAPPOINTED IF WE HAD TO LOOK ELSEWHERE.

I CHOSE INVESTMENT PAINTING FROM ANGIE'S LIST BECAUSE OF LEN'S OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF POSITIVE REVIEWS. HE CAME TO DO OUR ESTIMATE WITHIN A DAY OR SO OF OUR INITIAL CONVERSATION, EVEN AS BUSY AS HE IS. I FOUND LEN TO BE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND A VERY NICE PERSON! THE ESTIMATE WAS DONE IN MAY. DUE TO BOTH OF OUR SCHEDULES, THE WORK WAS DONE IN LATE JULY. THEY WERE EXACTLY ON TIME BOTH DAYS AT 7 AM, POLITE, AND BOY, DID THEY GET DOWN TO BUSINESS! THE JOB WAS DONE AND THE ROOMS CLEANED AND VACUUMED IN ABOUT 14 HOURS AND LOOKS FANTASTIC. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND INVESTMENT PAINTING TO ANYONE.

LEN WAS PROMPT, JOB WAS DONE SWIFTLY AND CLEANUP WAS EXCELLENT.

WE DID GET AN ESTIMATE THAT WAS $1,000 LESS, BUT WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE 5 TO 7 DAYS TO COMPLETE THE JOB, AND IT WAS OUR PERSONAL CHOICE NOT TO LIVE WITH THAT INCONVENIENCE. INVESTMENT PAINTING GAVE A PROMPT ESTIMATE AND COMPLETED THE JOB AS PROMISED. THEY HAD A LARGER CREW AND WERE ABLE TO FINISH THIS JOB IN TWO DAYS, AND THE ROOMS LOOKED GREAT. A MINOR CONCERN WAS THAT SOMETHING WAS DUMPED IN OUR UTILITY TUB IN THE BASEMENT WHICH CAUSED A DRAINAGE PROBLEM. ALSO, SOME OF OUR WINDOWS AND CABINETS HAD DRIPPINGS FROM THE WALLPAPER REMOVAL. WHEN WE DID SEE SOME AREAS THAT WEREN'T COMPLETED TO OUR SATISFACTION, THEY CAME THE VERY NEXT DAY AND TOOK CARE OF IT. THEY ALSO CLEANED SOME OF THE WINDOWS THAT HAD THE DRIPPINGS FROM THE WALLPAPER REMOVAL. WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH THEIR PROMPT RESPONSE.

OUR ONLY REGRET IS THAT WORKING WITH ALL CONTRACTORS ISN'T THAT WONDERFUL. INVESTMENT PAINTING IS A MODEL OF EXCELLENCE & CONSISTENCY.

LEN WAS VERY PROMPT IN COMING OUT AND GIVING US AN ESTIMATE AND ANSWERED ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. WHEN THE JOB WAS STARTED THEY DISCOVERED MORE WORK WAS NECESSARY THAN ORIGINALLY PLANNED. HOWEVER, THEY STUCK TO THEIR ORIGINAL PROPOSAL. HE WAS THERE WITH THE CREW AND THEY WERE NEAT AND PROFESSIONAL. THE WORK TOOK LONGER THAN PLANNED, BUT THEY COMPLETED IT QUICKLY THE FOLLOWING DAY. THEY DID A GREAT JOB OF CLEANING UP WHEN THE WORK WAS COMPLETED.
