Response from Investment Painting Contractors
THE CUSTOMER CALLED APPROX 6 MONTHS AGO FOR A BID ON EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR PAINTING. I WENT TO HER HOME AND SPENT OVER AN HOUR DETERMINING THE JOB TO BE DONE. I GAVE HER PRICES ON BOTH, INCLUDING REMOVAL OF WALLPAPER. ON 1/28/04, THE CUSTOMER CALLED AGAIN TO GET PRICES ON PAINTING. I EXPLAINED THAT I WAS VERY BUSY. SHE STATED THAT SHE DID NOT HAVE HER PAINT COLORS SELECTED. SHE HAD ORDERED A NEW COUCH THAT WOULD BE DELIVERED IN 12 TO 16 WEEKS. THE COLORS WOULD COME FROM THE COUCH. I TOLD HER THAT I WOULD GO TO HER HOME AND GIVE HER A QUOTE WHEN THE COUCH WAS DELIVERED. KNOWING THAT MONEY WAS AN ISSUE THE FIRST TIME, I GAVE HER A BID, AND HAVING SPENT OVER AN HOUR IN HER HOME BEFORE, I TOLD HER THAT I HAD JUST FINISHED A SIMILAR JOB THAT COST ALMOST $10,000. SHE SAID THAT WAS O.K. THE NEXT THING I KNEW, SHE HAD SUBMITTED HER REPORT. I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT I AM ALWAYS COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL, AS DEMONSTRATED BY THE OTHER FIFTY PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS IN THEIR EVALUATIONS.
