Building Waters

I first used Building Waters through one of Angie's Lists "Big Deals". Being impressed with plumber ("Al"), I had him come back to do additional work I'd needed to be done. Of course, there were "surprises" which one might expect in any home of this vintage. However, with multiple opportunities to "stick it to me" if he was unscrupulous, Al instead did the right thing, kept me appraised of options, and demonstrated that a sustainable business is developed by earning trust and building relationships. Another job well done.

I got the service. Sent an email to schedule and no answer... After 5 days I sent a new email and then I got a date, this afternoon. He told me early afternoon. I was there until 5:00 pm and he did not show no call.

Allen is a good and fast plumber. He delivered & installed the new water heater and disposed of the old heater in about one hour.

I had a shutoff valve on hand but the plumber let me know nicely that it was the wrong one. He replaced it with a new one and put in the cartridge for the faucet as well. Looked at the tub faucet and said that the one I had to replace it wasn't long enough plus there were some other issues. I bought my house from someone that thought himself a handyman but was not, so no big surprise. Would definitely use them again.

Allen came as promised and was very professional and helpful to fix a leaky toilet that is older and no parts available. Great service!

"Al" came out as scheduled & worked efficiently. He also provided cost-saving tips for future work. Nice work!

Contractor was on time and explained everything that needed to be done as well as why. it had to be done. Very professional.

Wesley went out of his way to fit us into his busy schedule to fix our toliet. He was very friendly and flexible with when he would get to our house. As we requested, he came early on a Friday morning to assess our toliet issue. He quickly found the problem and went to get the parts to fix it. He is VERY INFORMED on different areas of his industry and gave us some great tips/ideas for other faucets and shower areas of our house. Wesley is a very FRIENDLY person and my wife was very comfortable when he was making the service call at our house. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Building Waters for any plumbing needs.

That turned out great. Just one plumber came out and he did a couple little jobs. It took him a littler longer than an hour to complete the service. There were some extra charges ,because we had to purchase a new faucet. One of the jobs he did was installed a sump pump, we had the pump, but we had to purchase a part that we didn't have. He worked the entire time and he was friendly. He really seemed to be knowledgeable and knew what he was doing.

Very well. Mr. Rosenberg was very helpful and made sure the toilet was operating properly. He agreed to install the sink filter as there was still enough time left in the hour to do that. I have already reccomended him to a friend and I would call him again.

He first checked the bathtub and it was ok. Then to the kitchen and he took off the clean out under the sink . Down to the basement. Then got the electric snake. Used that several times and he had to go to the hardware store to pick up a clean out plug as he did not have one in his truck. Finally got things open. My problem with this service was the charge. I had paid up front for the Angie's deal of $79 for one hour of plumbing service. He first of all said he started at 2:30, and I told him he got here at 2:50. He then said I owed $156.00 and that included an equipment charge that he had to include. This was at 5:05 PM. (However, he had spent the last 25 minutes on a personal phone call with another contractor.). So, I paid a total of $235 for this service, which I would have paid $100 for under my homeowner warranty, but I thought I would save $21. Surprise! I ended up paying $135.00 more. Seems to me that $167.50 is a pretty good rate of pay.

They asked me when I scheduled appointment what time he should come. I told them 11:00 AM, and he came right at 11:00 AM. Craig was very professional and was done in an hour. Very satisfied, and will call them again when I need a plumber.

When I was deciding which service provider to use, I chose 3 from Angie's List. The first one didn't have a website and did not accept credit cards. I eliminated that one. Having an online presence and accepting credit cards, gives a more professional impression so I called Wes at Building Waters. After speaking to him at some length and having a really positive impression of him, I opted not to call the other choice. Wes was able to send someone over same day. The plumber was on time, nice and polite. He talked "to" me rather than "at" me as some service professionals have done in the past. Wes was the same way. The plumber fixed the leaky faucet/pipe and also replaced the plastic utility sink which was also leaking. The plumber went and picked up a new tub same day and replaced it immediately. We will be looking at installing a submersible sump pump in the future and will definitely call Building Waters again.

Called to get a price on what it would cost to come out and turn water on at the house we bought. He did quote us and then told us if we wanted to save the cost he told us how to do it ourselves and what to do to make sure there are no leaks. Very helpful and saved us money was very happy and appreciated the fact that they did not just come out and do it to make a extra buck. Very Happy will use in future and reccommend.

Job done on time and with no extra costs

They responded quickly to our problem and worked into the evening to get the job done. Really seemed to care that we were not inconvenienced. We have not had any problems with the work that was done.

Fast response. They were here about an hour after I called. Took about 45 minutes. Work was completed and drain free running again. Was a bit pricy but needed to be done.

He was on time, neat, did exactly what was asked. His boss came out and checked his work. He gave us a 5% discount. It was great.

It went very good. he handled it very quickly. I would have changed the spickit myself, if thats all that was wrong; but there was a long copper antifreezing shaft attached to it and also connected to the pvc piping I have connected thru the home. It was replaced with a better product that should give me many more years of service. Awesome. Thanks.

We obtained a new countertop and sink. As a result, the plumbing did not line back up. I called Wes, who agreed to come out the next day. Wes was on time, professional and took care of our plumbing needs. I was very satisfied with Wes and would recommend him to others.

Arrived on time, went right to work, found that the mixer cartridge was faulty but didn't have the parts on hand to repair. I provided the brand and model information and was told they would order the part. Wes called me the next day (Saturday morning) and asked how things went and let me know that the faucet had a lifetime warranty on the cartridge and that I should call to get the replacement. I also told him, at that point the drip had stopped... he said it probably wouldn't last and let him know if we needed more help. Sure enough, the drip is back, the part is ordered and they'll be back to install when it arrives. Although this was a minor problem the explanation, communication and concern for the their customer was (is) outstanding.

Came and gave me an estimate. His was comparable to a couple others that I got. I chose Building Waters, because the owner explained everything to me. He also found a sink that I was looking for at a better price than the internet. I think he has great customer service and would definitely use them again.

Had a plugged drain from the washing machine causing the washer to not drain. Called the morning and Wes showed up that afternoon and was able to remove the clog in about 1/2 hour. He stayed while we ran the washer through a complete cycle to ensure drain has been cleared.

Came out quickly and was friendly prompt and very price reasonable.
