Although the contractor for this vendor( Creative Wood Products) was terrible to deal with and screwed up many aspects of the scheduling and cabinet installation, Absolute Tops did a very nice job on the counters. Ed was a nice guy. He showed up very late for his measure appointment but explained that Creative Wood had not told him the same time that they gave me. He was polite and professional. He had to return at a later date to remeasure the counter as Creative Wood had screwed up the sink cabinet and it had be removed and redone. He scheduled his own measure that time and called me to check in on times. Again- nice guy and professional. We went to his shop to discuss layout of the granite. When there appeared to be issues with how best to cut the stone he contacted me to ask my opinion about which way I wanted it done. When the counters were installed it was clear that he did great work- very nicely finished and expertly measured. They look lovely. I would recommend this vendor- he seems to be a nice, honest guy who prides himself on doing excellent work.

We redid our kitchen and absolute tops were the contractors that our cabinet people used for the counter tops. Ed came out to measure for the tops and was a really a "down to earth" kind of guy. He allowed us to make some changes (even though slight, they were important to us). We scheduled the install date and they arrived as scheduled. The tops came and we were very pleased with the quality. They did a great clean up after the install and were very friendly during the time they spent in our house. We did have some concerns after the install and they quickly came out to address our concerns. Overall Absolute Tops did great job on our new kitchen counters and we are very pleased with the final product.

Michael and Ed estimated and then repaired many old, handmade, Chicago cream bricks on our 170-year old brick house. They scraped and pried out old brick and hand-cut new and recycled bricks to replace the softened ones. They also tuckpointed, closed off a vent, and installed a glass block window in an odd-sized opening. Good work at an excellent price, highly responsive and fast. I understand they also do stone and other kitchen countertops and general interior remodeling. we'll ask them back to lay pavers and other masonry work this year.
