A1 Restorations

I called the provider to fix a screen door. He said he would email me an estimate, which he never did. He called back a few days later to give me my options and a quote. After conferring with my finace, I left a message and asked him to call me back so that we could get the job started. He didn't call back, so I left another message, and he said he would get started, but did not give any specifics as to days or times. After a number of days, he had not started the job nor called me to touch base. I called and left a message to inquire what was going on. He called me back several days later and left a message apologizing that he hadn't contacted me back, but that he had some personal issues (a death in the family) and that we could start the job when I wanted. I opted not to call him back because I found the process frustrating and unprofessional.

I paid this man over $6,000 and my basement looks terrible. I have over spray paint on my white ceiling, he put up drywall and the tape in the corners is coming off. The trim he used is cracked and you can see nail holes all over. Trim is coming off walls.He would no call no show. Had my husband take 3 days off of work and never showed up. He smoked in my basement, used my money to buy expensive tools he never used on my basement. Bought doors that were too big and cut them to size. So now the door knob is like 2 feet off the ground. He bought hollow doors that now have a hole in them because he cut them. He added a bathroom in my basement and the toilet was not installed correctly. Drop ceiling does not cover entire ceiling.
