+ 0 moreI thought things were ok, prices seemed high so got a second opinion. The $4000 quote they gave me to hook up my wood stove was total rip off as the stove is cracked and junk. The owner himself bill was here and guess needs work so bad want $4000 to do a job for a stove that is cracked and not usable. I am so happy got second opinion before spent money and then would of needed new stove for more money. Now this guy bill the owner calling me from lots of numbers and showing up at my house now that I told him I felt he ripped me off. Beware don't use them not to be trusted. I am sure I will be having the police next time he just shows up at my house, can you say creepy. Beware beware beware

+ -1 moreWork went well. I had scheduled an appointment and they arrived on time. No mess for us to clean up afterwards. All the fire bricks were pulled out of the wood stove and inspected (Bill provided an explanation regarding why that was done) and one fire brick had a crack in it; while Bill did not have one to replace it (had to be OEM), he told us who to contact for a replacement. The fire box of the fireplace was inspected. Both chimneys were inspected and swept.
Description of Work: Cleaned and serviced our two active woodburners and chimneys.

Description of Work: Cleaned and inspected chimney - we have a wood burning efficient fireplace and had it cleaned last year by another chimney sweep that didn't know what they were doing.....it was evident that Golden Chimney knew what they were doing and will do business with them in the future.
