I've worked with Frey Construction on bother projects in my home and for my business. Their service is top-notch, and the attention to detail and attentiveness is the best. If you are looking for a straight forward process that will meet and exceed your expectations, do yourself a favor and call Frey Construction.

I've used Frey for a couple of projects now. Most recently I had a my roof replaced. It was a great experience. They removed the above-roof portion of my disused chimney and replaced my roof at the same time. They pretty much did all the work in a single day, with a small finishing touch on the next day. This was especially appreciated with a couple of small kids at home, that meant less disruption, which was great. The quote process was easy ,fast, and competitively priced. They did the work at a time that was convenient for us. The crew was very respectful of our property, which has a lot of landscaping against the house and throughout the yard. They took care to avoid dropping things on the plants and avoided walking too much in the areas where we have plantings. The foreman was friendly and helpful and communicated with us throughout the project and explained the process. Scott Frey was also in communication with us throughout to make sure that we were satisfied and taken care of. We will definitely consider Frey for any future projects we do for our house.

Excellent work. A few errors, but when brought to their attention they were fixed immediately and properly. Called them a year later when something cracked a piece of our siding(either a rock or a bullet) and they got it fixed quickly for a very reasonable cost.

Amazing! All projects turned out great and have lasted. Frey stands behind their work.

The whole job took 2 days, including a return visit by one of the crew who wanted to do a little extra - "camouflaged" a soil pipe, which was beyond the original plan. Site was left clean with little damage to landscaping.

On the recommendation of a friend we used Frey Construction for a bathroom remodel. I worked with Rachael who was terrific in helping me pick out fixtures, tile, vanity top, etc. and changes to stay within a budget. Our main Frey crew was Ted, Tim, Mark, and Matt and they were prompt, professional, and friendly. Their work was amazingly neat and they always left the work area immaculate. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them on future projects. Our new bathroom is awesome!

Our project went very well. The Frey estimator, Tyler, was very helpful in explaining our options and answering our general questions about roofing and gutters. From the attic, he inspected the underside of the roof plywood and showed us the deterioration in the 3/8th" plywood that was 43 years old. Pictures of our house taken with Tyler's phone were sent from his vehicle to a computer program that generated the size of our roof and the amount of materials needed. Tyler also generated his preliminary Estimate, showing the costs of various roofing and gutter options, from his vehicle. He showed us that Frey had insurance that covers all of its workers and he went over the GAF company warranty for materials and labor. The Frey roofers have all attended training for installing GAF materials. Tyler said that Frey would plan to provide a big enough crew to replace both the plywood and shingles in a single day and that the gutter project would be done by a different Frey crew shortly afterwards. We went to the GAF website and it had addresses of houses in our area with the GAF shingle colors that we were thinking about. We drove by some of those houses to see how the materials looked installed. We contacted Tyler and said that we would like to finalize the materials and proceed with the project. He came over and brought samples of the shingles and other materials. We chose the GAF Timberline HD Lifetime shingles, 5" gutters with 3x4 downspouts and Big Mouth Outlets and replacement of all the underlying plywood with 1/2" OSB sheeting. Included was 6' of GAF Ice & Water protection, and 3' of valley protection, GAF Premium Breathable Deck Armor on all other areas of the roof, and GAF Snow Country ridge vent, 20" of valley tin in all valleys and drip edge with GAF Starter along all eaves and rakes.. Tyler finalized our Estimate via the computer link in his vehicle and answered our project questions and we gave him a one-third down payment to lock in the project. About a week later, we got a mailing from Frey Construction laying out what we should do in preparation for our project...such as taking down pictures and shelves with collectibles. We also got the city building permit in the mail from Frey and a copy of the permit fee invoice. Nick, the crew leader, arrived the morning of our project. We walked around the house and he reviewed what was going to be done...including removal of the chimney. Nick answered a few more questions that we had. Nick took my cell number in case any issues came up during the day as I did not plan to stay at the house all day. No additional issues did come up. The roofing crew arrived around 9:00 and immediately got going. There were six roofers plus Nick plus a little help during the day from one other Frey worker. My neighbors told me they did not think that all the plywood could be replaced plus the shingles in just a single day. By 6 pm the roof was done and clean-up was well underway. We are very pleased with the color and texture of the shingles and the overall new look. The next morning the Frey Construction gutter bus pulled up and we walked around the house with the Frey lead worker to review the gutter project. The gutters & downspouts were installed by a crew of three so it did not take very long. Everything went as planned and the end result looks great. After the project was completed, Frey Construction sent a letter detailing how our GAF warranty can be transferred one time to a subsequent owner. This was a good reminder to find a reliable place to store the warranty information and transfer right. We wanted a contractor that had high quality workmanship plus used high quality materials so that this will likely be our last roofing project. We were very pleased with the final product and Frey Construction's project management was very good. It was very convenient that both the plywood and the shingles could be replaced in one-day. All of the Frey people were very personable and helpful. We would pick Frey Construction again.

It is hard to give a review of someone that when they are complete feel like part of the family! As someone who used to work in the construction industry they are unbelievable professional and are there to help! They went above and beyond to make sure not only our roof replacement went well but made sure the little details were taken care of without coming back for most likely justified extra cost because they were already there. They are fair and explain everything very well. One observation that I had while they were here was the Owner Scott came by the jobsite. He knew all of the laborers by name and was bilingual to be able to communicate with his team. I think we should all support local businesses with leaders that treat their employees with respect and kindness. And it is obvious this leadership gets translated into their work. They are an amazing company and if I have a home improvement or need an emergency repair there isn't anyone else I will allow in my house after using Frey.

We needed to replace our home roof & used Frey Construction, because of their reputation. We were very pleased. So pleased, that we used them again for several large projects with our rental properties. Scott & his employees are very respectful & professional. Excellent communication & great response time to any of our questions or concerns. We would highly recommend Frey Construction!

Work went very well and looks great. They were very professional to work with and in a very busy market, they were on-time and had a crew out within a month of the contract.

This is the second time we have hired Frey and we would work with them again. The prices are a bit steep, but not out of line with other estimates. The biggest challenge is getting on their schedule. The work was done well and on the time frame specified (once we got on the schedule) and the workers were polite and pleasant.

Everything went very well. The office called and let me know when they were coming. Nick was there right on time and the crew did an excellent job. Nick went through everything with us (very nice and professional). They were done in one day, the clean up was perfect! Will who sold us the job was also nice and informative. The roof looks great.

We had our roof replaced about a year and a half ago with them and we haven't had any issues with the roof itself. However what prompted me to write this review is we've had a nasty squirrel problem in our soffits and upon further inspection, we found that a section of soffit was removed and never replaced. It was where the eave met the roof and I can understand why it needed to be removed, but for a year and a half it's been wide open (unbeknownst to us, we never noticed it and had no reason to think anything was amiss) and once we started hearing the skittering in the soffits we knew he had a problem. The roofers worked in the dark to finish our roof on that side so I'm sure it was rushed and they forgot. It's very disappointing that it was forgotten/overlooked because the squirrels have done damage to the siding with their chewing. We have it mitigated (hoping so anyway) and there has been no more squirrel activity since replacing the soffit piece and closing it up. We got them all out (babies and mom). If it wasn't their job to put it back then a heads up would have been nice so we could have replaced it immediately and avoided this ordeal. Again, the roof itself is fine and we have had no issues so no complaints there, but this really put a bad taste in my mouth and I probably would not use them again.

Left a message on their website (early Sept). Received an email a few days later saying they will be out in the next two weeks to get a look and provide an estimate. Two weeks passed, then three with no word from them. I emailed and got an apology, and another promise they would be out to do the inspection / estimate. Two more weeks passed. I sent another email saying: if they are too busy, then no problem, just say so and I'll be ok with that. Another promise they would be out within the week. They never showed so I stopped trying. I completely understand being busy, and wouldn't hold it against them if they just said so - but don't say you will do something if you can't. Not very professional!

Overall, the process went well, although it took much longer to schedule the work than the salesperson suggested it would due to the busy schedule of the installers. Also, I thought the salesman told us that the installers would take a photo of the completed work so we could see it without having to climb up to the roof. We did not receive that. All other interactions and results were positive. The price was competitive with other bids we received.

My experience with Frey Construction started out very positive. I contacted them through their website and the office manager got back to me right away and set up a time for a sales consultant to come out and see me the next week. The sales consultant arrived right on time and was very knowledgeable and had good ideas for my roofing project. He said he would contact me when he was ready to give me costs for different options and that he would give me a few times to choose from when we could meet. I was very much looking forward to getting the bid. But that's the last I ever heard from Frey Construction! After two weeks went by, I e-mailed the sales consultant asking when I might expect to get a bid. No response. After a week went by, I emailed the office manager with the same question. No response. I was left baffled and disappointed. Did they just decide they weren't interested in the job (the roofer that i did hire said it was going to be a challenging job)? Apparently, but why not the very basic courtesy of telling me that?

They were very patient and helpful. Answered all our questions. They were prompt with cleaning up after their work.

The project went well. I thought the masons took the time needed for a quality rebuild. the end result looks very good. My main criticism is in the area of scheduling and communication.

Very poorly. When contacted, they promptly scheduled an appointment and provided an estimate. However, they have been totally unresponsive in following through with revisions to the work estimate - refusing to return phone calls and texts. On several occasions was promised a return phone call the same day that never occurred. If they did not want the work, they should have had the courtesy and professionalism to say so.

Although the work was done well, it was 4 months late, and would've been longer had I not called them to get out here.

It was a free estimate. I think we got 5 estimates. The first reason I didn’t use them is because the price was way too high. The second reason was that they came to do the estimate and I didn’t hear back from them for over a month, probably more. I was trying to contact them and I just can’t get an estimate, but when I finally did get it, it was out of my budget anyway.

Overall experience went very well-estimates were well within insurance adjusters estimates (he even said the price was extremely competitive). Roof looks great, crew did great work and did a much better job cleaning up compared to some of the other roofing companies that were doing work in our neighborhood.

The foreman and crew did excellent quality work. I appreciated that the foreman conferred with me regarding how I would prefer to deal with all the oddities of my house.
