Frey did a great job from start to finish. They completed the tear-off and replacement of our steep pitched roof in less time than I thought possible. Everyone on the crew was courteous and professional.

They did a fantastic job on our 110-year-old house. Lots of roofing companies wanted to take shortcuts leaving us a hot roof that would void the warranty on most shingles, some companies even refused to come out. Frey came out and did a great job that we feel will last us our lifetime. Everything was done in a timely manner and they repaired every unforeseeable problem that usually comes up when repairing an old home. We are very thankful that Frey came out to do the job and will work with them again in the future for other jobs around the house.

Terrific company to work with. Always responsive to my request. Carpenters and designers are really skilled in each area they work. Owner, Scott Frye, even came out late one evening to help me solve a problem with old chimney on my house. My house is 60+ years old. All work was completed on time and beautiful windows installed, just and they looked just like I had hoped. Followed original design of home. Each window was an unusual shape, but Frye work out a plan and the result was beautiful.

Great People who did a great job. Everything went very well and my house looks great. I would hire them again but the roof and gutters they put on will out last me.

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Frey Construction did a major exterior make-over of our home in Madison, starting with our roof and insulation, to all new windows and doors, to new metal siding and insulation of all walls. Some of this work was done under Covid-19 guidelines. Frey continued the work and made sure both their employees and my husband and I were safe. They reduced their team size and had each employee come in separate vehicles and maintain distance. My husband and I were impressed with their work and professionalism and enjoyed our interactions with the crews, especially the window and door crew and the siding crew. We’d happily recommend Frey Construction to our friends and family.

Frey consistently met and exceeded my expectations for their work and also of equal importance, follow-up. Frey for our next project is a no-brainer. I won't lie, their bids came in higher than others, but I have done many home improvement projects and theirs had the best service and least amount of hassle. They also know what they are doing. I do a lot of research before a project and am amazed at what other providers try to sell me as a suitable product or method of construction. Methods that would negate my warranty on the siding. Frey did it right.

I was experiencing issues with water getting into my garage. I had a few companies come and look at it, and decided to go with Frey Construction. They were able to start the work right away after snow melted off my roof, and got the job done in a timely manner. After the work was completed, we performed a water test and unfortunately some water was still getting into the garage which can happen. Thankfully, they were able to send people over the next business day, removed the siding again, and worked for hours to identify the problem and perform the extra work needed for free. They explained what they did in addition to the previous job, and overall had an amazing experience with their company. I very rarely write reviews, but they earned this. Very impressed.

I've worked with Frey Construction for around 15 years, the staff is great, and the work is of great quality, they don't leave holes in communicating timelines etc. We recently had them replace Fascia, soffit and gutters! High quality work, very prompt, courteous & professional in their responses. Because the work was for my clients, I do not know about cost, but the work completed was exceptional & included a warranty too. Everything from a total remodel on an outdated condo, to solar tubes to rubber membrane roofs (which many contractors won't touch!) & more.

The estimate was thorough and detailed leaving nothing to chance. The timeframe to get the work done was spot-on. Two days and we have a new roof and a skylight that has no leaks. Great job Frey Construction!

This past spring was tough with all the rain, but Frey Construction did all they could to meet the deadlines and did a great job. They even found ways to improve the roof that didn't cost me a dime more. The quality is great and so far this winter we are seeing a large difference in our heating costs. I would certainly recommend them for any future work for anyone.

They were the only contractor who took time to sit down with us for hours and make sure we understood our options. The final product was beyond our expectations. Everything went very well, from the first day when they installed a protective runner from the front door to the bathroom, to the final day when they removed it and left behind a beautiful new bathroom. Had a few project delays with crew injures on previous projects and weather but the work was done very well and majority of the project finished in a day. They were even able to take a good lite from one of the sliding glass panels and replace a leaking panel on another sliding glass door saving me replacement costs. My entire wall now has clear windows and the light is awesome. Clean up after the project was also good. Only hiccup was they were shorted a piece of replacement siding that ending up being installed the following week. Nothing that was an inconvenience as they just stopped by and finished when available. They kept me in the loop the entire project.

The work went very well minor problem with a downspout location inform them where it was supposed to be the came right out and took care of the problem overall I'm very happy with Frey construction and we'll use them again
