Description of Work: master bedroom remodel. We did all the demolition work ourselves, and then Frey came in to build a new bedroom and closet. They gave us a schedule of what work was being done on each day, and they stayed to the schedule. Work was completed on the day they said it would be, and it looks great! Final price came in $100 below the estimate given. Excellent work! We will use them again.

 + 0 moreOverall, we are extremely happy with the work performed by Frey Construction. Our roof looks great, better than we ever expected. With the help of Scott Frey, our insurance company covered the costs of repairing our roof from the hail storms that hit our area. We probably wouldn't have had that happen if it wasn't for Frey. We will definitely use Frey for any additional projects we have done and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They stand behind their work (15 year workmanship warranty) and the crew took pride in their work (they even made sure all the little stuff was just perfect!) A++++!
Description of Work: Roof was replaced due to damage from a hail storm. Our insurance company initially came out and inspected our roof and said there wasn't enough damage for them to cover, but Scott Frey from Frey Construction came out and met with our insurance adjuster and pointed out the damage in several areas of the roof. After negotiating with our insurance company, and the help of Frey Construction, our roof replacement was covered by our insurance company. The roof looks great, who knew someone could get excited over shingles - but the difference is amazing! The gutters looks great also - we love the 3 x 4 downspouts and the big mouth outlets. The crew came and went and they cleaned up so well we couldn't even tell they had been here (other than our great new roof!) One thing that we really liked was their roofing buddy (they refer to it as Max) and it is a basically a dumpster on wheels that lifts up to the roof line - which protected our landscaping! It was great to see!

Description of Work: Due to a previous report posted on this website, Scott Frey contacted me to rectify my concerns. This company has made a great effort to fix the gutters so water is not coming in behind them, the flashing where it was popping off, and the rubber roof where it was coming up, In addition, when the concerns were addressed, Scott basically started from scratch, ripping out the old and replacing with new. His crews were on site for a good day with some additional time to address a small gutter matter after the main job was done. He did all of this free of charge.

Everything went about according to plan, other than the weather, which forced the crew to be on the job site and extra day. We do have reservations about the flashing surrounding the chimney. It may last for 30 years but it doesn't look very "clean". The windows look a little cheap and not quite worth the roughly $600.00 per opening that we paid.
Description of Work: Frey Construction replaced our roof, adding siding to two 2nd story dormers, and replaced 4 windows.

 + -1 moreOriginally, I was very impressed with this company as responsive and comprehensive. I have a house with varying rooflines, for which a gutter system was a challenge. Scott visited a couple of times to assess the situation and have a comprehensive plan in place. When the crew arrived (about 8) several of them took off and ran around the house looking the property over. I found this so unprofessional, I complained in writing to the company. The shingling of the roofing job was done adequately. The flashing however was sloppy and improperly finished around the chimney, over the clerestory and on the edge of the rubber roof. The newly installed gutters leaked. The company came back to resolve the issue. They never were. Even now, 1-1/2 years later, I am finding issues. In having my chimney repaired, the poor flashing job done by this company was pointed out to me. I would eventually have suffered water damage, due to their work and I am repairing other flashing done sloppily.
Description of Work: Old Shingles removed and replaced with new on 2/3 of roof surface. Replaced some plywood underneath. Also roofed over a section of roof, that is flat and has a rubber roof. Did some build up to create a slope away from the house. Added gutters all around. Buried downspout under asphalt driveway to carry water away from the area.
