+ -1 moreThe service tech came within an hour, diagnosed the problem and did what he thought would resolve the problem. By day 2 the inside of the fridge failed to cool down to the recommended 38 degrees. As "Don", the service tech recommended, I called Charlie's again. He was in the area and came right over. Again we took took the fridge apart, he added an element that would conduct "heat" further down into the area causing the issue. Because I wanted to see how long this fix would last, I've waited several months to review. I am very pleased to report no issues!
Description of Work: I have a Samsung French Door, Bottom freezer Refrigerator that was giving me a lot of grief. It would freeze up causing water on the bottom of the upper fridge. Ice would build up and I would end up having to unplug it, thaw for 24 + hours, take everything out, clean it, put it back together. This was very annoying and, not to mention, time consuming. I did online research and discovered several people experienced this issue with this particular fridge. Very few places would/could offer assistance as I didn't purchase it at their store. (I purchased at Sears and won't get into why I won't buy from again or request their services). I called Charlie's and all though they don't offer Samsung appliances, one of their service techs used to work on GE's which had very similar cooling design. He was willing to come take a look & "do his best".
