Things with them have gone fair. I would not say good, I would not say bad. Where we live there is only one server and right now that is Century Link so I don't have any choice as to who I use. I think their customer service rates about a C and it is frustrating dealing with them on the phone, absolutely frustrating. As far as delivery of product I have no complaints, but I can't tell you how their product compares to others because I have no comparison. When you call in you spend at least an hour being bounced from one person to another or on hold. It is the most disgusting process I have ever seen. Every month they automatically deduct the amount of the bill from my checking account. They notify me by email. All of a sudden the emails stopped so I tried for five months to get them to continue the service but they never did. One of their ladies told me they were not paying any attention to me so it took five months just to get my notification back.
Description of Work: I use them for internet, landline phone and now DirecTV is all lined in on the same bill.

The service is abysmal. The connection is very slow. Connections are undependable. The email service is terrible. Up until last week we could not send messages, could only read them. Logging in never worked the first time. Always had to do exactly the same login twice to gain access. As of last week, they changed their email login procedure and currently, we cannot get into our email at all. My wife had a long conversation with a technician a couple of months ago. The technician was courteous and patient and the problems were supposed to be resolved but in the end, nothing changed. We've given up on their email service and are switching to gmail. If there were any other provider in our area, we would be done with CenturyLink in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, they are our only option.
Description of Work: CenturyLink is the ongoing provider for our internet service which is linked to our landline phone service. Cost of service varies a bit month to month.

When we first got started it was rocky. They were making error after error after error, and I had to phone them for everything. I couldn’t seem to get their accounting office on track as far as what the proper charges were. It took close to a year to get it all straightened out, and once it was straightened out, it’s been wonderful. Since that, the service has been fine, and they have been extremely receptive and conscientious. If I call in with a problem I get immediate service, they are great on that, no argument. My feelings towards them are mixed because of the bad experience I had at the beginning, but as for right now, everything is fine.
Description of Work: I use Century Link for my land line phone and internet services. I have been using them for about two years. For the price I pay, they provide local as well as long distance phone service, and DSL service for internet through the computer.

Their service is not the greatest in my area. Lot of time there is poor connection, which probably is caused by too many people on the network. I do not have a landline connection with them.
