+ 0 moreJeff is fast, fast, fast! He really knows what he's doing and explains it well. I'm checking my entire condo and making a list of jobs-- now that I have a fix-it guy I can trust.
Description of Work: My ice cube maker had leaked (almost imperceptibly) for months until I finally noticed it. Jeff cut through the wall behind the refrigerator to check for mold (none, thank goodness) and repaired both sides of the wall and molding. (My brother fixed the ice cube maker.)

+ -1 moreHe was a courteous, friendly and a very hard worker. He exudes a very ''can-do'' attitude. All work completed as he promised. He kept us up to date on his progress. I was very impressed with his workmanship. I had many contractors over to look at the job, and Jeff was the only one who started poking around and discovered the cistern. He presented solutions that would insure that I and all future homeowners wouldn't have to deal with these problems that he fixed. He didn't cut any corners, and costs were quite reasonable. He works fast, but thorough in his work.
Description of Work: Upon first inspection of the job, to the surpise of both of us, he uncovered a yet undiscovered cistern! It was a filled cistern with gravel. He dug out, and poured a footing and built up a 6 foot long foundation wall to cover up an old crawl space. He pulled a permit for this part of the job. Pulled out basement window and blocked it up. He tuckpointed and covered over with masonry mud the fieldstone foundation (above the gound), along the whole side of the house. Then he painted on a tar coating for additional waterproofing. Extended dryer vent out from an outside corner of the house and built a nice looking housing for it that perefectly matched the siding of the house.
