Description of Work: granite sink area and large counter top and laundry room and cabinet counter tops the only reason i was unhappy was because of all the scratches that developed in first couple weeks and the only remedy was a 3000 dollar charge and that was at their cost or so they said i would never pick black granite again if they're all like the one we got i think if we had been given a better warning of the problems and scratches that would appear with virtually no cutting on the granite but just from dishes on the surface we never would have chosen this product They should have been familiar with this and steered us away from the product selected (it was not cheap either so price was not the issue) we will probably replace the granite with a different color some time in the near future they do have a nice laser measuring device that makes the cuts come out perfectly which is not common yet

Description of Work: I had a small job, I just needed two holes cut in my kitchen granite to install some accessory items. However, while on the phone with Trevor in sales, I asked about some other items in my house. ie, sealing, marble etc. He came over HIMSELF a couple hours later and gave me great advice and professional opinions. We weren't pressured into anything we didn't need, in fact quite the opposite. I trusted him and he clearly went over and above that day. The following week, when the installer came in to do the job, he was professional, clean and efficient. While this was only a small job, when we are ready to our big stone work, we will defintely call them for the job.

Met with us several times for planning, accompanied us to the stone distributor to choose our specific piece, came to our home to do precise measurements, provided shop drawings and made changes as requested, and did installation as scheduled. Price was comparable to others, but I would rate them very high in level of service. They provided helpful suggestions, responded promptly to calls and requests, and all contacts with their staff were positive and professional. Our total experience was one of the best we have had with service providers and we would recommend others consider using this company.
Description of Work: Plan, fabricate, and install approx. 42 sq ft of granite counter top, including cook top and under counter kitchen sink cut outs, back splash, and one island.

 + -1 moreThe job was quite a challenge including unlovely surfaces that had to be compensated for. The crew did a great job and took their time to get it right. They carefully sealed it at the end. They called in their master carpenter to install the corbels because the corbels had to be scribed and shaved to be made to fit, and he did an amazing job. It looked great.
Description of Work: I needed to have them remove an existing granite raised counter top which was about 10" w x 8' 9" L and replaced it. with an absolute black honed granite top which was 18" W X 8' 9" L. They also installed three corbels that I purchased.

 + 0 moreWe researched several countertop firms but chose Stone Dimension due to high Angie's List rating and personal reference from a neighbor. We emailed sketches of the work to be done to Conor Williams. He set an appointment to have the site accurately measured and produced shop drawing for our review. He handled transferring the granite we had chosen from the distributor to his fabrication shop in Pewaukee. We visited him at the shop to double check our choice in edges and the view the granite and select a layout. I was very impressed with the workman who met with us. He pointed out flaws in the granite slab that we should avoid, and explained why. He helped us lay out the pattern on the two slabs like a seamstress laying out a clothing pattern. He made certain the very nicest sections of the material were in the most prominent places so we would be sure to enjoy them. Ten days later the crew showed up with the finished product within five minutes of the appointed time. The two young men in the crew were neat and friendly, and worked efficiently to remove the old countertops and install the new ones. They even took the time to make certain the only seam was to my liking before cementing in place. They measured for the backsplashes (which they explained should properly be done after installation of the counters to allow them to accurately take into account the waviness they might find in the walls). They were in and out in three hours. Three days later they came back and installed the backsplashed in about an hour. Everything about the experience was fantastic and the end result is more beautiful than we could have imagined.
Description of Work: Fabricated and installed granite countertops in kitchen (including planning desk and island) and mudroom. Also removed old countertops.

Description of Work: We worked with Conor Williams, who spent a great deal of time with us on what was a small project by their standards. Becoming educated on marble quality is important and other companies were simply not interested in explaining details. The company took laser measurements for a marble countertop in a new bathroom. Delivery and installation went smoothly and was within the time projected. Calls were promptly returned. The price was hundreds less than competitors. We are planning to use them for another project.
