We have used GR General Contracting for several large projects including kitchen and bathroom remodels and building a detached 2 car garage. They do excellent work! We have been very happy with everything. I hired GR General Contracting to remodel my basement. Every aspect of the project was excellent. My remodeled basement is beautiful. I would definitely hire again. Gordon communicated regularly about the project schedule and kept me up to date every step of the way. The crew were outstanding and it was a pleasure to have them working in my my home. At the end of every day I received a walk through of the progress and an overview of the next days work. I am thoroughly impressed with my experience working with GR General Contracting.

From the moment Gordon quoted us on the project, it was smooth sailing, even during a pandemic. Gordon was terrific at keeping in touch, letting us know what was going on, and promptly answering our calls and emails. It was a pretty big project, reverting a 1970's 11'x14' master bathroom and completely remodeling it. It turned out absolutely beautiful! Gordon's staff, Nick, Brandon, Tyler and the electricians and plumbers he contracted were all very nice and professional. There was never anything that went too wrong, but if something was wrong, they fixed it immediately. Our kitchen remodel is next and we will definitely be using GR General Contracting again!

GR construction was fantastic the whole way through our basement and Master bathroom remodel. Visited with us multiple times on front end to assure the plan was what we wanted, and then executed the plan very well. Handled small hiccups and obstacles well and in a collaborative way. They followed up abs fixed a couple small issues, and were very respectful, clean, and professional the whole way. Highly recommend!!!

A class job done as if my house was their own. I had provided the tiles for the shower, The tiles were somewhat peculiar but they made it work and the result is simply wonderful. Great precision and care in the workmanship. The job lasted a little longer then expected but I was kept in the loop as often as needed. This company has very skilled workers and Gordon is very customer service oriented. Would hire them again immediately.

Gordon did an excellent job with our basement. His quote was very reasonable and the project completed on time. He was very responsive and answered all our questions and always kept us updated on progress. He was also very accommodative of changes we made to the scope. I had a very pleasant experience working with GR General Contracting. They were very professional and timely with their work. I had tried to get this work done with another contractor for months with no work, but after calling GR General Contracting they can out to see the site last week and started the work shortly afterwards. Definitely would use them again with future renovation projects.

I was very pleased Deck Rescue was very responsive and got the job done just in time before winter. they were resopnsive and on target. I thought they were great.

Gordon called the day before work was to begin to let me know the names of the men that would be doing the work. (I thought that was a nice touch in that I knew who would be at the door the next day and it also validated that his crew was coming and that we were prepared for them.) The job called for the old damaged ceiling to be removed and a completely new ceiling installed. During the demolition process, an electrical issue was discovered. John and Alphonso were able to correct the problem (to code) and the installation proceeded. The new drywall sofit looks great and gives the recroom a nice finished appearance! All in all, working with GR General Contracting was a very positive experience! The work was professionally completed and the staff were great to work with! I felt the job quote was fair. We are looking at another project in spring and I look forward to working with Gordon and his crew again. I would HIGHLY recommend GR General Contracting to anyone!

Gordon Rudd himself called to set up the appointment, which pleasantly surprised us. His worker came to the house at time and date arranged and did a very good job--we could tell a difference immediately. We want to have him come back in the spring to work on the outside of the windows and doors (coupon was for interior only).
