Description of Work: My wife and I returned from a trip, to find that our central air conditioner was not working. One provider came to check, for a cost of about $100, and concluded that we needed a new unit. After a bit of research, I thought we ought to get a second opinion, and brought in Droegkamp. The tech arrived promptly, and after just a quick look, said that the capacitor was bad. He checked it with his meter, replaced it, and everything is fine. (The first provider did refund our money, for which I give them good marks for honesty.)

Description of Work: routine seasonal furnace tune-up. the tech answered my questions, showed me some additional features on the humidifier and installed the new Aprilaire filter I had sitting there until I got it put in. After he was done, he came up and went over everything. There was not a sign in the basement that anyone had been there. He even turned off the lights!
