Installation technicians completed their work in a professional manner. Cleanup after installation was excellent.

I moved in to a house with a central air conditioner that is 50 years old. The tech from DFC that tuned it up spent a good amount of time to check out the whole system and clean it up. I felt that he was very honest about things, and unlike other services that do check ups he did not try to push anything on me. The only downside is that that they cancelled my original appointment, it was a minor inconvenience.

Removed old- installed new - works great. On time - cleaned up after job was done- no complaints.

They did a good job. It was worth the price. They did have to come back to look at the air conditioner which was making noise.

Was not able to schedule before expiration date.

When I called to schedule they told me that they had sold so many it would take about 6 weeks for them to perform the tune-up. The day before the service was to be performed, they called to say they were overbooked again and that they would need to reschedule out another 3 weeks. No apology or anything. I told them to cancel the request and I booked another contractor that was able to schedule the following week. I was really disappointed and I figured if this is how they handle a simple AC tune-up, then I would never hire them to perform a more expensive service.

Perfect! Another contractor had told me that I needed to replace the entire AC unit. I called Droegkamp for a second opinion. The serviceman arrived promptly, took one look, and immediately noticed that the capacitor looked bad. He replaced it, and it's been working fine now for a couple of years!

They did find that I needed more refrigerant as well as the tune up so I paid an addition $195.00. I was happy with the service and that they came out so quickly. We were having a bad heat wave and they got me up and running.

I made multiple calls just to schedule the appointment, then took a day off of work to accommodate the service call. I was given a 4-hour window for when the technician would arrive, near the end of that window I called to find out when I could expect him, only to find out they had lost the appointment. Since I never received any service or product I can not comment on those, but as for the office staff, they need to hire competent personnel.

Have used Droegkamp for over 17 years at two houses, have always done excellent work, on time, friendly skilled techs, never much of a mess, explain things well, reasonable pricing. This job went well, two guys, four hours to replace 5 ton AC unit.
