Lake Shore Services arrived on time, was pleasant and did a wonderful job of cleaning our garage and hauling away items - everything was completed as was included in this Big Deal

At first I was surprised that only one peson showed up. From the description of the deal, it seemed like it would be a crew. He had a van -- and could only haul away the items that would fit in the van -- so a few things were left behind. He just used my garden hose to hose down the ceiling and walls -- leaving lots o dirt and debris on my garden tools etc. as it fell from the ceiling. He didn't do anything about the signifcant spider problem -- and all the nests are still there. One positive is that he was quick.

My windows really needed cleaning. My call to the business was answered promptly; the appointment made and kept, and my windows (in September) still look clean. I would use Lake Shore again, and I appreciate the Angie's List Deals.

He was friendly and did a good job.

The owner came over himself to do our job (we had purchased a "BigDeal" and we were the last one not redeemed...so he was interested in scheduling as soon as possible). The pricing policy (beyond the BigDeal) was clear and explained upfront. He did the work efficiently, including fixing a loose piece on one of our skylights. It was a project that I have been meaning to do for years...and he made it quite simple and affordable.

He was punctual, polite, and did an excellent job. I would use this service again, and would refer the service to others.

On-time and got to work; I had to go off and do errands--no problem. When I returned about half the garage was reorganized and put away; the rest of the job was done shortly thereafter. It's not detail-oriented work so can't comment necessarily on specific skills, proficiency with tools, or the like. But I liked his attitude and can-do approach and would hire him again depending on his price quote. I purchased the $99 window cleaning special on Angie's List for Lake Shore Services. I emailed Jamie and he promptly responded with a day and time that matched my request for service. He showed up on time. He did a great job and my windows look so much better! I am very pleased with the service I received. Jamie is a professional and takes his work seriously. He was done with the entire project within 1.5 hours. I would use him again in the future and would recommend him highly!

I hired Jamie by purchasing a Big Deal through Angie's List. We had a couple of scheduling snafus (2 my bad, 1 his) that resulted in him driving out to my house twice without getting to wash the windows, and this was after he made a point to fit me in quickly because I wanted to get the house on the market! I felt terrible and thought he would be angry that his time was wasted, but he wasn't - he said he makes a point of being flexible, and he really was. He did a very nice job...there are a couple of small streaks on one picture window that can be seen when the sun is at just the right angle, but I doubt anyone could ever do a 100% perfect job. Jamie is friendly and easy to work with, and I will to hire him again to wash the windows of my duplex.

This is too much work to require of me.

I emailed Jamie Conklin to let him know that I had purchased the Window Washing Big Deal on Angie's List. He responded the very next day, offering me several dates that he had available in the upcoming weeks. We agreed on a time and date. He arrived promptly with all of his supplies. In order to wash the double-hung upstairs windows, he needed to remove and wash all of the storm windows from the inside, then needed to go outside and get on a ladder to wash the outsides of all of the windows. It was a time consuming process, but he was extremely efficient and did an excellent job.

At first, everything went smoothly: got the appointment and he showed up in time. Then, it was a disaster. Jamie Conklin shows up in a mini-van with one tool, a Pressure-Washer. He doesn't bring any moving dollies, furniture movers or helpers. It's a one man show. Jamie is a very nice man and tries extremely hard. But, he couldn't move most of our items from the garage floor. My wife had to help him move the heavier items. Most of them were left in place and he cleaned around them. He never washed the inside of the garage door or adequately cleaned the cobb-webs and dirt. After talking with my wife, I left work and came home for lunch, and ended up staying for an extra hour. Jamie spent 3 hours and did haul away one load in the back of his mini-van. He's a nice man but he doesn't have the tools necessary for the job advertised. My wife worked with him, in the garage, for 1 1/2 hours and then apologized to me for buying this BIG DEAL.. My grade....an F. The only positive is that my wife and I spent part of the weekend before this BIG DEAL deciding what was junk and what to save. We were able to get rid of a fair amount of junk and the floor is nice and clean. Update after reading Company's "retort": As I mentioned above, Jamie is a very nice man. But, he didn't move 5-6 items, such as the storage closets where I put my outdoor hand tools and chemicals/fertilizers. Nor did he remove most of the 7 storage racks that we have in our garage. He didn't even move my extension ladder that was laying on the garage floor. He cleaned around these items. My point is that he is a one-man crew. The items that required 2 people to move them, were moved out of the garage by my wife and Jamie. Then, at the end, I helped him move those same items back into the garage. His advertisement says"When was the last time you had ALL of the items removed from your garage floor....." The word ALL is in all caps in his advertisement but he doesn't have the capability to move out the heavy items. His false advertisement and the resulting experience leads to an "F".

Jamie arrived on time and was one of the only service providers, EVER, who was able to find my house without repeated phone calls. He did all of my outside windows. He not only cleaned the windows but the window track where all sorts of dirt and dead bugs had accumulated. We removed all the screens, which then prompted me to clean those before putting them back on. Amazing how clean wiindows bring in more light.

I was very happy to have Jaime come and do my windows. He did a great job, over and above what I expected!!

We walked around the house and discussed what needed to be done for the various types of windows I have on the house. He informed me of the upcharge there would be to do all I wanted, and I thought it was very reasonable. Jamie was friendly, efficient, and clean. My windows look great!

Throughout the project, Jamie was pleasant to work with, willing to consult with me whenever I called, arriving promptly and being very self-responsible in completing the job. He finished the job in the time frame he anticipated and never asked for additional monies. I was very satisfied!

He listened to all window cleaning requests and followed them, and then offered to do some additional windows. This was done at no extra cost and Mom was very happy. She plans to have him do some exterior painting in the future since he also mentioned his handyman abilities.
