+ -1 moreAll work was done on a home built in the 1950's so they were presented with several challenges while making these updates. They did an excellent job in finding a way to give us all the improvements we wanted. Both father and son worked on the projects. They were polite, helpful, courteous and conscientious.We would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Bathroom Installed a fan/light in tub area soffit. Bathroom did not previously have an exhaust fan so it had to vented to the exterior. Installed two wall sconces in bathroom. Added GFCI protected outlet in bathroom and 20 amp circuit. Also installed new fixture in dinette and a new fan box in kitchen ceiling and installed new paddle fan/light. We paid $1400 for these services. Then we asked them to upgrade the electrical system from fuse box to circuit panel and circuit breakers. We paid $1775 for this service.

+ -1 moreWe like that it is a father son operation and they work so well together and they can answer each others question without doing anything. We would say that they are able to do anything, even if we have something in particular wired, they always figure out a way to do it. We spent about $200 on the last job they did. They are great.
Description of Work: We use Tom’s Wiring for electrical service. The last time we used them was probably 6 months ago.

+ -1 moreWe had used him before. They were very good and they did some work for us when we had a bathroom remodeled, that's how we became aware of them. They are very conscientious and very thorough. It was kind of a challenging assignment putting in that fan in the bathroom. They were creative and coming up with the way that could be done. I am very satisfied and they did a good job.
Description of Work: I had some electrical work done for a relative by Tom's Wiring SVC. I think he did the work in November. He did bathroom remodeling work and he also put in a 100 amp service put in a circuit panel, she had a fuse box before that. So for the bathroom work there was adding a vent fan in one bathroom and replacing light fixtures in both bathrooms. He also hung a new fixture in the diner and hung a new ceiling fan in the kitchen.

+ 0 moreThe thing I like, besides the excellent work - they always figure out how to do things, they always come to me because they know I'm picky. They always check with me before they finish something or make a permanent move in the job to make sure it is to my liking.

+ -1 moreThey were very easy to work with and they kept in great contact as the work was over 6 weeks. They had to come back as I had some problems and they were good about that. A father-son duo worked and they worked very well together. They could almost read each other's mind when they had to take the next step. They were very neat and clean. They called always before coming to inform us.
Description of Work: I used them to install a new bathroom vent fan. They did all the wiring for new light fixtures and new under cabinet lights. They moved some walls in the bathroom. They hung two hanging lights in the bedroom.

+ 0 moreTom and Dan are very conscientious workers and pay attention to detail. They were able to perform work in my old house that many other electricians were unwilling to take on. Some would have taken the work, but expected me to hire an individual repair plaster after they tore my kitchen walls apart.
Description of Work: We have used Tom's Wiring for two projects on our 1929 Bungalow. 1. $5500: Kitchen remodel included installation of can lights, new outlets to code, and other miscellaneous items. 2. $2500: Upgraded garage and basement electrical, resurrected original wall sconces in dining room, and other miscellaneous items.

+ -1 moreTom and his son are the utmost professionals. Very prompt on there initial scheduled work day. Privy to the electrical codes for the city of Milwaukee. Clean and orderly vehicles, with the right tools and equipment for the job.
Description of Work: Installing two sub-panels, install multiple breakers for each. Outlets, GFI outlets. Two lights and a coach light. Plus they pulled a Milwaukee electrical permit, which was required.

+ -1 moreHe was a very punctual and friendly individual. He was very friendly. He treated us with a lot of respect. He did his work very fast. He really did know his trade very well. The price for his service was not the best quote we received, I do remember that. We chose this company because he was able to do the work immediately. We have had no problems with the work he did.
Description of Work: A man from Tom's Wiring upgraded our current 100 amp circuit breaker panel to a full 200 amp breaker panel.

+ -1 moreWe had a few quotes and this companies seemed the most reasonable. The man we dealt with was quite friendly. He explained exactly what he was going to do. It really did not take him long to do the job. He was definitely skilled in this line of work. Everything turned out perfect. We have had no problems with his work.
Description of Work: A gentleman from Tom's Wiring added two new electric outlets in our living room. He also installed a new 220 volt electric plug in our kitchen that stopped working for our electric range.
